Just cause they made the model details on the heroes looking like that doesnt mean that the spells will tho, guess we'll have to wait and see on that tournament thats commin up
Looks good, nice graphics but its still really clean, hud looks good too, easy to understand etc which is what you want.
I'm surprised LoL players are getting excited over it though? After spending the last 2 years moaning about HoN and playing a simplified version of Dota. :S

why get so defensive zjep lol... he's only saying the graphics aren't really comparable to lol's, nor are they comparable to hon's. and I sincerely hope the game has nothing from hon or lol.
from what I've read the gameplay is like an upgraded, smoother version of DotA with the accessibility and net code that make hon's mechanics look terrible.
I personally think about from right now. In terms of activiity (doesn't mean its the only fact eh), Atm HoN looks like better than DotA cause it's actually a real copy from it, but it's not dead as dotA can be. So if i had the choice between both (active), i would defo choose dotA. but it's not the true fact :(
Every one of you guys saying "disappointed" or something are complete retards tbh. It's a new game, you haven't played it nor seen more than a few screenies. You live in this imaginary world thinking that every game you're actually waiting for and wanting to play is gonna be awesome and just how you'd like it. Well it's not like that. They can't make the graphics, etc, to be to just YOUR liking, they want them to be good for the bigger audience in a whole.

In comparison to LoL and HoN they're more similar to LoLs graphics thats why people are comparing them I guess.

They have copied a lot of thing from HoN and etc games for Dota 2 already:
- channeling bar
- right click to buy
- manabars (lol)
And for all those haters the game is still on beta so it's no use to cry about UI or stuff like that.
