I hope it will stop half of questions about basics, its remake of my old tutorial in czech, its not going to deep as vacuums one, but its complete with rendering
+ it has kind of promodbug fix, cfg etc.. :)

thats exactly the kathas way, like i mentioned it was my way, how im doing it. and it doesnt mean im doing it right :P I didnt googled any tutorials basicly just tried discovered it on my own. Mazarini and paradox frags are recorded already like this so i wont change it now. If you method will be absolutely the same then thx i will edit tutorial in start using it :) ( but i think it wont be, because my way basicly keeping the image the same BUT moving this annoying icons pretty much down to the bottom so its easier to hide with playerbar). If you have time you can do some test :P My way is pretty long atm :P

1280x960 @ promodlive v2 leaves the number of remaining axis / allies uncutted you can see this at raanara 0, basically the same
well i mean 1280x1024, the res i record in. nah loleek just told me to do it with pan and crop instead of motiontrack adjusting as i used to do it =) and my videos got much sharper =)
MOTIONTRACK is THE same as pancrop just its doing it for ALL clips in layer, so you dont need to do pancrop for each file to 16:9 you jsut doint it ONCE on the whole layer and it will be applied for all clips in that layer
i guess you just had placebo effect :P

actually no :( i put 2 of the same videos next to eachother with the same megui profile etc with the 2 different methods :<
just formatted :(
gj mate.
is now a perfect circle?
is now a perfect circle?
dont drag. write the specific clip size in. here its 1280x1024 i suppose =)

lol didnt thought about it tbh, n1 :P
that would make it the perfect circle =)
one tip maybe; there's also a muxer in MeGui -> tools -> mp4muxer
for the final step (no need for yamb then)
i didnt cared basicly about it because i just adjusted it by eye mostly :D completly forgot about posibility just to change resolution

someone should just accumulate all the usefull threads, and put links to em in one thread. then sticky that.

Thx ladz :)
Thx ladz :)
edit people to patr =D
Then virtualdub the .tga's to .avi.
Then put that and the fraps in vegas, sync them (soooo easy when you have video+video to sync together), crop properly and render again to .avi.
Pretty long winded, but it means all the clips are perfect, and you dont need to fiddle with them when your editing :D
BTW anyone who can make all screenshots and write small update about ingame sound? so i can add it to my tutorial. never recorded it, someone always helped and recorded it for me
hope it helps somehow, basically at output i turn off everything except master volume, wave, sw synth and front, and at
input turn off everything except recording control and stereo mix, these settings are for realtek integrated sound card, tho other sound cards have similiar settings if not the same :), oh and for the software use widnows sound recorder or sony soundforge

works for me, and for windows 7, its possible to do it but sounds slightly different (in a bad way) and takes more time to set up, same goes for vista
