Just thought I would post a thread up a day before the game to get some discussion going.

What are your predictions? To be honest, this is a really tough one to call. I'm going to go for the Patriots to win but only by 3 or 7, possibly even in OT. It's going to be close no matter who wins, I think. Both teams haven't been the best this season but they have each stepped up in the Play-Offs with N.E's defensive line actually managing to win games and N.Y seeing off great teams in the Packer's and the 49er's.

Brady vs Manning is going to be a great match-up again. Manning came out on top in '08 and earlier this season in November. Everyone knows what Brady's like mentally, he will most definitely be out for revenge and I can really see him coming up with another great clutch performance in the Super Bowl.

Anyway, let's see what people think. Winners? Final Score? MVP?

	I was meant to be going to a party for it but then got an email yesterday saying I have a meeting at 9.30 the next morning so now my plan is to sit and watch it by myself while eating pizza and drinking beer. 	You're like me then. Most people the Pats, but I actually like them. I think Bill Belichick is a brilliant coach and I love Tom Brady's mentality. Everyone thinks he is cocky or arrogant but I think he is still just insecure after his draft pick and just wants to go out and prove everyone wrong every game he plays.

	If Gronkowski is actually fit and can play at his usual level then he will be really important for the Pats, he's been sick all season. My predictions are Brady to throw a INT in the first quarter, Giants to be up at Half Time, Ochocinco to make only his second TD catch of the season to win it.

	After reading what that is, no we don't get that here but we have some sort of equivalent. I'm watching it on Sky Sports on my TV and posting using my laptop. It is also being shown on BBC here in the UK but I'm just posting for people who don't have a tv near them and want to be at their PC.

	You gotta watch it. The basics are pretty simple, they gotta keep trying to make 10 yards on each series of plays. You might get bored but if you manage to stay awake then it's really worth it!

	Intentional grounding. Basically, Tom Brady knew he was about to get hit so he just threw the ball away up field where there was obviously no receiver open to make sure he didn't give up yards and a safety. It's illegal to do that, unless he is out of the pocket or isn't under pressure.

	All NY right now. Brady's hardly had the ball in his hands at all and when he has, he hasn't done enough with it. Going to have to step it up from here on in because the Giant's running game is dominating right now.

	The amount of people who watch the game simply for the half time show and adverts is crazy. It brings in so many viewers which in turn leads to more money so I doubt they'll ever get rid of the Half Time show.
