Probably didn't quit so much as they made him. He publicly called them out on the Terry thing, it's not surprising.
I'm glad, he right screwed up the world cup. The only problem now is that no PL manager will leave until at least the summer, so where does that leave the England squad? Redknapp was the first name everyone said but he wont leave spurs mid season.
Terry is an amazing captain and innocent until proven guilty. It's pretty weird capello has taken this correct stance despite being an overall downright horrible england manager.
O'Neil won't do it because he's just taken over at Sunderland and is doing quality. Personally can't see Walter Smith managing England and Harry Redknapp would probably take over right before the start of the Euro's.
I think what England need is a really strong English manager who can motivate the players properly and get them playing at their highest level.
what they need to do is not pick the 11 best players and pick a team.
been englands problem for adges, although they have loads of young talent coming up the premierleague so i can see them doing really well with the right manager and not someone who picks the biggest names.
Predicted it as soon as I heard what he was saying on Italian TV. I think Redknapp might try and juggle spurs and England management for the time being.
Edit: Also, I think England will perform better at the Euro's now that 1980's tactics won't be used

Just bring in David Moyes.

arry part time cu
Originally it looked like it would be:
Redknapp -> England
Mourinho -> Spurs
Maybe Mourinho would manage England? :D. He apparently hates Madrid now & he's meant to be leaving in summer.
my personal opinion is that it will be one of these guys (not that i even give a shit)
martin oniel
walter smith
harry redknapp
easy 3 of the best uk managers for the past 30 years, obviously ferguson has a better rep but i doubt he would leave united for the job

hopefully with the new manager we can finally pick a decent side between youth and experience
again, I'm only going off what I know from FM games, as I've gone like Manutd/England with one manager.
