haha well i was watching some graffiti on youtube and saw a gas mask, googled it and put it in photoshop messed about and decided to put it underwater :P
In the new you used an effect on the rnderer in the focal point, get rid of it (the ear)
also could use more depth, sharpen effects and blur background, darken lighten, you'll get it.
flow is good!

thx ima mess about with it, tried getting more depth but stock was bad it just ruined it on places, and i over did it with effects at start then decided to give it a light feeling towards end
Personally to achieve depth I heavy blur it and erase pretty much everything, then do a normal blur to create depth. I leave the mid stages as they are, and sharpen the very highlights. After that, dodge and burn tool near the light source to create some shadows and done. :) That's just me though.
@latest: Nice tbh, I like pen tool(?) work :)
@third: Not quite sure bout lightning on that one but, still nice. Good place of text.
@second: Its a bit too sharpened(?) @ her ear imo, but without that I think its wonderful. again nice pen tool work :D Good flow.

yeah i knoticed with feedback you gave, hopefully i make some more and i get better, wanna start making logos with illustrator once i get better with photo
yeah illustrator seems to be the program most placments are looking for worth learning and thx i tried fixing lighting and depth still need 2 improve it more imo
The colors steals alot of attention, the purpule is very dominating, dno if it should be edited, dont change direction, perfect flow imo. are those black blurred parts there added or is it in the stock?
the one with the girl looks nice, looks like it could be used as a flyer type thing for a club to promote a night or something, at least thats how i could see it being used :-] company i used to work for had similar types of designs for all their promotions :] nice stuff!
Very good work indeed, try to work on the depth though. Seems like you're sharpening the wrong things and therefor not creating any real depth.
Take the third one for example.
As you see I've put red circles around some of the brushes there, I forgot to put that red circle on the left hand though sorry :(
It would create ALOT of depth by simply erasing most of them, I'm not saying erase all of them, leave some behind and try blurring them just a bit.

So even though most of these cunts on this site have no idea why certain colours are used in certain images, dont take any bad critism :)
thanks, i learnt my colouring from before use to be better at designing gotten sloppy trying to pick it up again hopefully get even better than i use to be
there is some nice work here and would like to see some.
some criticism:
the first one is not to my particulair taste as it is just smudged the stock with different bushed (unless theres another way to create that look that im unsure of) but i did the like what you did to the stock in the top few layers and the lighting is also v. good.
the second one is realy nice i just dont like what you did to the hairline around the forhead and ear (like some grainy effect) but apart from that perfect xD.
third one again is not realy my taste but the text is good and i think makes the piece lol.
fourth is by far the best everything is good. It has good flow and the colors actually match but the 1 pixel border thing (forgot whats its called :/) around the TEXT effect takes away from it fitting in the picture. The background is done well i would like to see the stock of the background to see what you changed xD.

that actually depends.. it is a lot more comfortable to colorcorrect/DOF in AE than photoshop, mainly because you could add effects like lens blur to an adjustment layer.
