Windows 7 accel problem

Randomly while ingame I can feel my mouse go faster for like 0.5sec (happens every few minutes), its extremely annoying..
- I have installed MarkC mousefix and it works fine.
- I have also tried without any mousefix, the problem is still there
- I dont have any mouse drivers installed, I tried with Logitech drivers but the problem was still there so I uninstalled it again
- The problem happens with both my MX518 (at 500hz) and G400 (at 1000hz), I also noticed this same problem at SAGE LAN where the PC's also had Windows 7
- I used to have MX518 (at 500hz) on XP 32bit and I didnt have the problem there.
- I had 1800dpi at MX518 and 800dpi at G400, the problem was there on both.
I read somewhere that this is a common problem on Windows 7, but does anyone experience this too or know a fix? Its extremely annoying
Its kinda hard to explain the problem but it just feels like your sensitivity is double as fast as normal for like 0.5sec

dont think this will help because you say its only for 0.5sec, gl anyway

gl solving it
I found this, but I also have the same problem with my old MX518, ''Mike09702''s post is exactly what I have as well but he hasnt found a fix either
edit:
go to computermanagement (device controll) delete the mouse driver there , should solve it i tought

Or just learn to play with accel, gg.
Sometimes (very, very rarely) when I open cod4 my sensitivity is higher than usual. I need to close and re-open cod4 for it to go back to normal.

but then i reinstalled OC and problem solved *:D*
Win7 32. dont know the real cause too .
OS: Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit
Motherboard: Asus
CPU: Intel
Ingame monitor HZ: 120
Mouse HZ: 500
Mouse DPI: 450
And one last thing, did you all follow the guide from ngohq.com when you changed the pollingrate?
www.ngohq.com/news/15043-how-to-increase-usb-sample-rate-in-windows-vista-7-a.html
I think that guide is the cause of our problems.. If somebody could format the computer and then DONT install that 500HZ-fix and test if the accel is random or not. And if not, then install it and try again. :)
whats the formula you use to calculate your new sensitivity with a new dpi compared to your old dpi and sens?
I'm going from 900dpi to 800dpi and wondering how the formula would work and so on..
thanks in advance guys!

0.7 * 900 / 800 = 0.7875
What did you change the last few days? Witch updates or programs did you install? Did you change to 500HZ? :P
If you have access to TF2 or CS:S, try using RAW INPUT and report back your results. I am an avid CS 1.6 player and currently there is no fix to what you are describing. To save you some time and effort, I have a compiled a list of workarounds that I have already tried unsuccessfully.
For others to understand the problem, it is important to note that it is completely random and for some very hard to notice. However, on my system personally it is almost like my DPI has doubled for a split second. VERY annoying.
Hope this helps you understand things a little better.
PREPARE FOR WALL OF TEXT
Inconsistent Mouse Speed Windows 7
System Specs: MSI-P55-GD65, Intel i5 750, 4GB DDR3 OCZ RAM, BFG 260 GTX, Sound Blaster X-FI Titanium Fatality, 2x Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB fakeraid 0 on Intel ICH10R, Corsair 650w PSU, Windows 7 64-bit Home with all windows updates.
I have a problem with mouse speed changing randomly while playing any HL1 or Source based game. I haven't tested in other games enough to be sure its happening there.
Imagine having 2 identical systems next to each other, both with acceleration disabled, and both mice moving at a constant speed across the mouse pad. The good machine's sensitivity remains at a constant speed and the bad machine's seems to jump ahead about 30-60 degrees for about a half a second and then smooth back out to normal.
To save some time in help with troubleshooting, here is what I have already attempted as possible fixes. The only fix I am positive about is that this issue DOES NOT OCCUR in Windows XP 32-bit.
-Old video/sound drivers
-Newest video/sound/chipset/network driver
-Fresh install
-Replacing my ATI 4850 with this 260 GTX
-New HDD's, running IDE, AHCI, and RAID 0 (I've tested them all)
-RAM timings (RAM has passed Memtest 4.0+) I've already tried replacing RAM as well
-All graphics options in Nvidia and Catalyst Control Panels didn't fix issue (Fresh installs each time I put a different video card in)
-Vsync is always off
-Disabling sound completely/using onboard sound
-MSconfig start-up turned off
-Windows 7 Anti-Malware process disabled/Windows bit defender or Microsoft Security Essentials
-Refresh rate 60/100/120hz
-Mouse polling rate 125/250/500/1000hz
-Razer Deathadder/Logitech g500/mx-518/microsoft wheel mouse optical/Steelseries Xai/Microsoft ball mouse ps2/ZOWIE EC1
-Using no mouse software drivers/using mouse drivers
-Compatibility mode for all available O/S's including running as admin and other check boxes each checked individually or together
-Heat temperatures are completely fine/air flow in case is good.
-processor has been checked and is seated properly
-MarkC Windows 7 mouse accel fix]
-noforce commands for hl1 engine

Honestly although I know it's a pain I suggest to try a clean install of windows and only install what you need to run cod4 with your current setup+mouse fixes. If you still have the problem you're screwed I guess. But if not something else is causing it and it will be a matter of installing something and checking if that is causing the problem.

I use a G5 2000 dpi 1000Hz. Logitech drivers + markc mousefix builder. 6/11 winsens
If on usb perhaps try using another port. See if that fixes anything. Highly doubt it though.
What is your exact OS? (What windows7/xbit/servicepack)
I'm on a Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit and I have no problems at all with my mx518. Shouldn't be OS causing it if I have no problems with the exact same OS but who knows it's a bug in another version of windows7.
Tbh I think it's a driver issue and you're best of trying with a clean install (really clean, just install win7 and plug in mouse and see if you still have the problem).
