not really been expressing what i'm after in past threads that well.

basically after a laptop, off to uni soonish so a tower's not practicle
£600-£700
would say that really, lightweight's more important than specs.

things needed:
optical drive

smaller than 17" screen, probably a 15" will be about right

one that looks alright too

erm hopefully that's nice and clear and some of you will take it upon yourselves to search out a nice 'un for me :)

cheersmm

Like i said: more interested in having a nice lightweight machine than a powerful one capable of handling games, but you know, nothing wrong with added bonuses. so basically if there are machines capable of running games in the price range then call them out for me. x

MSI are good laptops

Just NEVER buy a HP or Acer
The quality is horrible and they will break down ALOT

MSI or a Sony would be the best choice
But since Sony is paying for the name go for a MSI =)

just another bump,

anyone own a sony laptop? how to they feel performance/build-wise? i'm after stuff on the models around £600 or so

been looking at them more recently and the definitely look good, seem alright specced and i wouldn't mind paying a wee bit extra for the name tbh.

so owners feedback pls :]

Log onto Ebuyer...if it is not for gaming £400- £450 and you should be golden.
Sony laptops are shit IMO had one break and it took 2 month for them to get back to me...luckily Peter Jones refunded the money. The next one then broke about a month outside its warrenty.

Go Acer or HP.
But seriously Ebuyer is your friend.
