So around a month ago my blackberry curve broke. I went to the o2 shop and asked what the problem was and the bloke said nothing obvious so we'll send it off, he wrote this down and gave us the note.
2 weeks later i get a phone call saying it was obvious damage and it was the charger socket that was broken which comes down to misuse. So my dad sent and email saying it was their word against ours and we got told it wasn't obvious. After a few more emails they said they would replace the phone and now they have sent me the new blackberry bold!
So my question is, have any of you had any lucky experiences when replacing a phone or any other sort of items?
FORGOT TO ADD IT WOULD OF COST ME 120 QUID TO REPAIR IT!

Had a broken xbox 360 laying about
went and got a new one
got home swaped old with new ( old was mint just red ring )
took it back bitching
no new ones left apart from the later models
said if i gave them tener more i could have the latest.
sold the latest one for 100.
basicly worked out at like 20 for the one i stil have lol.
both times i just brought it to the shop together with my contracts and the payment receivething from the phone, took a month and i got a new one twice :)0
alot of troubleshooting stuff, at the end it turned out to be my psu.
so i already shipped my ram and mobo to the shop, they said that the ram was broken, and they would replace the ram with new ones. but what they actually did was; the old ram and a new pack of ram. i did an rma for the psu, and it turned out as 4gb 1333mhz ram for free :)) yay
bought a 3/4 year old psu off a friend, it was broken, no warrentee, antec decided to just take the rma and send me a new 550w psu like a baws xd
had a zowie hammer (regular), it broke, rma, the shop sent me a zowie hamer usb (15 quid more expensive)
had a steelseries 5hv2usb, broke it, rma, forgot to include the usb soundcard (was fine after all), they just shipped me a new one (2x the usb soundcard)
winnar of thread
i informed the boss of the restaurant, left the shop with 100euro cash to buy a new one xDDDDD
My macbook pro died, which was just a month old. No clue why, they told me it was damage due to water or some shit, which ment they wouldn't give me a new one. I still have no clue if insurance will cover it, so bought a new one, lost 2500 eu over 6 weeks jsut to get a new macbook pro, cuz first one was broke and can't proof it wasn't water damage, well played Apple cunts..............................................
(BTW repairing the damage costs 1450eu, new mac costs 1200, so it was fucked).
Give me your luck, thank you.
Had one of these badboys once: www.mysites2.nl/upload/118567_g1_1_t8034.jpg
HTC Touch, running Windows Mobile.
On the way back of my holiday my screen broke down all of a sudden, litterally out of now.
They day after I got back home I phoned T-Mobile and they send me a repair package in which I could send the phone to the repair center. I took photographs of the phones outside just to be sure.
The phone returned in 3 days and it worked perfectly. It only has one problem, there was a crack in the front bezel.
So I phoned T-Mobile again and they said they were sorry and send me another repair package.
I send out my phone again and it took a long time now. The repair center had to wait for a new front bezel to arrive from China.
After 4 weeks the phone finally returned to my home, but with a 125 euro bill I had to pay directly to the postman.
So all my alarmbells started ringing and I had the postman take the phone back with him. I immediately phoned T-Mobile and they said the phone was damaged due to my missuse and I had to pay the full 125 euro.
Three months later I still had no phone and the only thing T-Mobile did was drop the examination costs which left me 85 euros to pay. My dad contacted his legal aid and they came to the conclusion that it was cheaper for them to pay for the phone and give me a refund for the few months I have missed my phone. T-Mobile got of the hook but I got my phone back.
Kind tl;dr but what ever :P
They offered me a job in IT working as a Trainee Software Developer on amazing salary.
Rest of my friends are at uni building up a debt while next year I'm being sponsored to take a BSc in Computer Science for 4 years whilst on full wage.
Been employed for 3.5 years now, all because of one weeks of work experience which the school placed me into.
My old g5 was working fine but I opened a ticket saying it had broke, got sent a new g500 sent within a week for free, sold for £40.
Got domino's the other day and they gave me the wrong pizza, phoned up and then got send out 2 free pizza's. Win.
Got Battlefield 3 sent through the post late, so I bought it from a different place. So I sent it back to the supplier and got twice as much back than I paid for it because they put there price up.
Got quite a lot of lucky things that have happened to me in the past, too many to type :P those are the more recent ones. :D
yep gg
:D:D
screen just went off but the phone was still on, got a new one instantly o/
dell guy comes round next day and brings the wrong card (gtx 285). i notice but the guy fitting in the new card hasn't noticed yet, so i snuck in the fact my birthdays the next day and i get two gtx 285's :D sold one straight away for £200 and still using the other one now
waddap logit3chz
It later got nicked at Telford i42; and I know, cool story right?

My mouse has been getting malfunction errors lately, but I don't want to send it to warranty, because I don't have a replacement mouse. :S

Going to send them email about warranty, if they don't replace it, I'm pretty sure the EU Union buyers right commission will convince them.
