Hello everyone, me and 6-7 friends are going to Amsterdam in the 1st week of May so i'll need some help regarding hostel's/hotels, clubs, coffee-shops and some amazing sites to visit.
We're between these 2 hostels:

and the 1st hotel is way better, thats just next to leidse square and thats the place to be. the 2nd hotel will cost u 20euro for a taxi everytime ;;)

The Globe is a QUALITY hostel. I was there like 3 times or something and it was quality each time
The only negative is that you cant smoke in the rooms..:P but i suppose the same applys for every other hostel/hotel.
Mind telling me how much you paid for your stay ?
It was pretty cheap, I think it was like 30 each for like 5 of us or something? I can't remember.. And that was for like 3 days or something
The main coffee shops to visit are Barneys and greenhouse
oh and the food in the globe bro, nothing better than coming back to hostel after a chilled out session across the river in a coffeeshop to buy a big plate of fucking ribs. The Globe <33

Too bad that one ain't really in the centre of the city. But in the centre it doesnt rly matter anyway, its like all the same (almost)

key words to understand how the bank-capitalism system works is
bank-loan-rate-benefit (and definetly not for the greek ppl but for the banks)
the goverments blame the greek ppl just to hide the real cause which is the capitalism crysis and not the debt crysis that talking about.
Smokeys Coffeeshop was good tbh, also susys saloon for your brekkie around the corner.
Not sure if these places exist anymore though, been 9 years since I've been to the dam, love it!

About clubbing, if i was you i would visit the Chupitos Shooter Bar which is 2minutes from leidsesquare. its a shooterbar where shots are not just a shot but a experience. www.facebook.com/ChupitosNL
This is a awesome bar/club to start ur evening before u go clubbing. I go here like 3-4 times a week and its awesomeeee.
For clubbing go to rembrandsquare i think, thats more the place for tourists to go out!
The clubs/bars at leidsesquare is more for the dutch people etcc.

Some nice attractions to go are; The house of Bols(rly nice for tourists/young ppl) , rijksmuseum, van gogh museum, madame thoussaud.
