we'll see what happens then.
Small local lans with shitty prizes, VERY small community, like 1,5k spectators on biggest lan of CSS in 2011 grand final. No big fan-base, barely any likes on facebook, very few watch streams, shitload of hackers. It's alot easier to play, bit like a childish version of cs.
CS:
Intel Extreme Masters europe/world/kiev/dubai, WCG, ESWC, E-STARS, Dreamhack, all of these with all between 10-50 000 dollar prize purses. Many sponsors. In the same LAN as CSS where CSS had 1,5k spectators, CS had like 50 000 in total. Hltv is ALOT better than Cadred. Lots of LAN coverage with decent photographers. ESLTV has pro shoutcasters, nice to watch.
Just head to hltv.org and watch the upcomming IEM tournament which starts in 2 days, should be front page. Look how many people has placed bets and given predictions, also how many known orgs and players attending. Look how many "supporters" of their teams chatting and shit. Almost all decent articles there has like 200-600 replies.
CSS is pretty much dead, cs is on it's way to dying. Probably only a few more years to go now. But if it was between cs and css then fuck yeah, cs is just on another universe really. Css can't even be compared.

css just got eswc, mouz and mTw both picked up uk teams (who are salaried), verygames split into two top teams, loads of old players returning.
its still not alot compared to 1.6 but to say its dead is a joke.
and u do know cs is losing most of they tournaments? IEM maybe picking up css, hence why germans orgs salaried uk teams :)
for example mTw won $12,000 in EPS, without counting salaries and any other tournaments, hardly what i call dead XDXDXD

I know Source has some known orgs, or, 2 maybe?:D I know none of the new mtw players, almost no hits on google for example. Who doesn't know heaton/spawn/forest/neo/gtr?
Maybe it's not dead, but it's dead compared to CS.
Joe Miller said that some lan, can't remember which one, had 170 000 spectators during the event, 90 000 unique for 1.6. Those numbers isn't even possible to come CLOSE for css.
And as if IEM is gonna replace 1.6 for source. You think they would have replaced quake for LoL if quake had more viewers and community? Past has proved that CS is just on another level in terms of activity, skill and community than CSS. Replacing CS for CSS on iem would bankrupt them, or, atleast the FPS genre
Sk vs Navi on ESWC had 50k+ spectators. That game alone. Nuff said.

ye and how much does 1.6 get now? 30,000 max until a final?
so why would mouz and mtw drop the germans squads (biggest comp in eu) to pick up some british players, and if u need to google those players then u clearly dont have a clue about css, end of coversation. cu
im not here to argue, im just telling you some information u clearly dont know.

Now? This was like under 2 months ago LMAO, you think half of cs community dropped dead like flies during the last months? We will see in two days how many viewers, because you know, cs is having a pretty big and sick lan with big money involved in it, ukno, with teams such as sk, fnatic, lions, navi, esc, mous, and winfakt playing. What bout css mate they got any big profitable lans coming soon, decent chunk of viewers, nice stages for players?
the "big reveal" of mtw's (biggest org in css right?) new css team got 112 comments on cadred. On hltv, Serbia's clanbase team full of unknown players got 125. Yup, reality is a bitch.
This is getting boring, look here:
CSS is not dead, but it's very inactive. Compared to cs it's dead. There's no known players from the current scene in CSS who are known in the gaming community in general. However there is in cs.
CS is ALOT better in ALL ways. Try deny it please.
Don't try say that CSS can take over CS in iem for example. If IEM decide to make that move they are basically bankrupting the FPS genre of they're lans, might as well pick up mw3.
css is dead compared to 1.6
like 1.6 is dead compared to sc2
cadred isnt the main hub for css, like hltv is for 1.6, considering 80% of people on HLTV are retarded fanboys who just post the most retarded stuff on the website. (you will know this too)
considering the quality and what HLTV provides, no site is around thats better than it, so its expected it gets so much comments/views.
u make it out like it was a huge thing for css, infact 3 of the players played in the pervious mTw team (you probaly didn't know that), and the players returning won 600,000 for salvo, so ye they are pritty fucking known.
u actually must have some sort of brain problem cause you are mentally retarded.
i never said once 1.6 was better.
i never said once the scene was stronger
i never said once that css would replace 1.6 at iem
i never said once that 1.6 doesnt get more spectators than css
yet you sit here and have a fucking argument with me?
"Don't try say that CSS can take over CS in iem for example"
where the fuck did i say that? really? can u email where i said that please? in your imaginary world of he said this and that.
and are u joking me ?
"There's no known players from the current scene in CSS who are known in the gaming community in general"
so nobody knows about Gaurdian? the [R] css player who quit gaming and went and won a 1.6 lan beating esuba (he was playing with retards) pritty sure people in 1.6 know about him.
1.6 has been around for like 13 years, its obvious people will know about the players.
its like saying nobody knows who xavi is cause he plays in spain when torres plays in the premiership and everyone watches it.
AUDUN, i would actually like if u went over my comments, and yours, and please tell me once where i said any of the things u said i did, no wonder i dont come on this website anyone, when people like u are on it.
and u compare the main gaming hub of 1.6 to a small website like cadred? XDXD how many times did ur mom drop u as a baby

Even on the Intel Extreme Masters they played CS 1.6 with a prize of 13000 for the winner(i thought correct me if im wrong here) and the hitboxes in css suck a little bit :S
Css = a fairly solid game with a bit more coverage than cod4 and more money.
Cs 1.6 = a really solid game with posibly the most coverage out of all fps games and a good amount of money.
other notes.
css - not to hard to get used to and be good at
cs - very hard to get good at ( mainly cause of how long it has been out and how long most teams have been together )
Ether way GL :)
