1: the ping
2: different timezones
3: Only 1 or 2 good teams in the USA
4: would end up being a european final anyways
5: VACANT??????
6: Different mod
7: enough alternatives (Cybergamer)

*EDIT* ive been playing long before the cga ladder was implemented therefore ur reason is again invalid. ive been playing in european leagues since good ol mohaa days and into cod1 and now cod4
cant just assume because one does like come from the same brew that it doesnt taste good. i play vs europeans on a daily basis dont tell me i cant compete with europeans because i have and will continue doing but go on...

Doesn't matter about ping or whatever ctaz. Skill isn't an option with a few of them, we saw this when vvv? was it... when they were in preinvite, it was always a good game. There is only a few good teams because their scene has died, doesn't mean theres only a few good players. We Shouldn't discourage people to join in the EU scene at all.
