Mazarini @ MW3
Hey guys.... I am supposed to do a review MW3 but im out of time and i dont have enough time to play MP enough of time.
I want to know opinions of CoD player on that game.
How do you feel about it? (im not talking about competitive side, there is no such a thing imo:D)
Just overall.......
I feel huge deja vue of playing MP......shitloads of emblems, same modes, stupid matchmaking system....cool survival mod...same specops......same boring leveling/weapon unlocking as in previous 2 games.....everything is the same and just more specular shine:D
Post your thoughts please
Apart from nicer graphics etc. The game is aimed more at little kids rather then competitive gaming.
so fckg fuck this game in public
spawnpoints shits etc.
too much backfuck in the MP.
I personally think its a pretty good game ;) but I did prefer blackops cause it was a nice change in scenery
But the game feels a lot like blackops which i played a bit.
Its more familiar to mw2 or blackops? if you compare all 3 games, which is better?
is there some step forward? did game improve? if yes, how much
Theres definitly a step forward, but not from Blackops in my oppinion
mw3 > mw2 but blackops > mw3
Anyway, the fact that the game is new attracts alot of people to it I think blackops fans will outlast mw3 fans, thats my oppinion
But there is so many useless stuff around, thats sucks :X
the maps dont work right ( massive overkill on cliping too l)
the gameplay is painfull ( always someone in your back )
the game however looks nice ( the detail is good and there is alot of intresting parts to the maps)
how ever playing on pe been slammed in at 65 fov the amount of detail backs on its self and ruins it
and hurts eyes.
the maps are fairly small ( mainly about vacant size )
the fps is way to low. thay shouls have at least had it to run = to the max r-rate ( 120 )
all in all great for console ( i tryed at mates and kinda liked )
shit for pc ( i stupidly gave them money and own it )
- I quite like the weapon proficiency system too, is pretty nice
- They should change the perk and weapon unlock system, rather than doing it by level we should choose what guns we want to unlock at whatever level we like
blackops has better 'cod feel' much more fun to play, better unlock system
lots of clutter in mw3 maps
mw3 similar graphically in almost every way to mw2, so many reused models/textures etc
out of the newer cods, blackops is the best
mw3 guns are balanced, nothing stands out to be superior

Been playing Black Ops recently, so hard to believe that MW3 is the most recent, it's a massive step backwards in comparison.
Considering i didn't like WaW (boring), MW2 (buggy and SO MANY FAULTS FROM RELEASE) and BO was pretty mediocre (enjoyable singleplayer even if it was batshit crazy) i've really enjoyed MW3 so far.
The problems which plagued MW2 are back though:
- No dedicated servers is the main one for me. Why oh WHY after last time when hatred practically spewed out the mouth of everyone playing it when you realised you were playing on 120 ping did activision/sledgehammer not just put dedicated servers in. It's just silly.
- The dev console is gone. I honestly don't understand why you would do this and lock certain settings in the config, such as FOV and MAXFPS. Again it just seems silly, it's not like either offers a massive advantage. You should at least be able to change FOV via the options menu.
- No lean is ridiculously annoying after getting used to it on COD4. MW2 didn't include it but Black Ops did, so you would expect MW3 to but it doesn't and it just comes across as a weird omission. Maybe its not used a lot on console and given that COD has become a staple game for anyone with a console they decided to scrap it. Either way it bugs me.
MW3 is basically MW2, but it feels so much better imo. The gameplay just feels smooth, even without dedicated servers i haven't had much lag (that said i know people who say they are having a torrid time trying to find decent hosts). It comes across as a console port (much like MW2) but it feels like they ported it, then smoothed it out a little. I was quite surprised that my computer could run it on practically high as possible given that it's getting on a little. I know the graphics haven't really changed much since MW2 (well not at all really) but you have to give it to infinity ward (i'm saying them because its always been them in the past), they do make the game run as good as possible on as low specs as possible. Treyarch COD games always give me absolute DOG fps, and with Infinity Ward it's always the opposite.
The singleplayer is ridiculously easy, even on veteran. I smashed through it in about 5 hours, which seems a bit too short given that i did it on veteran. It was a great story and really fun to play, even if it was a little bullshitty and absurd for a lot of it. The stories have got progressively worse since COD4 though so i wasn't expecting it to be true to life.
Deffo worth a buy if you've enjoyed COD games before.
To follow on from that. I don't think i've played all the MP maps but some of them are very poor and very easy. MW2 had some stand out maps (not like i can name them because i haven't played it for ages now) which were absolutely perfect for competitive play (which arguably makes them a good map) but there aren't really any that have caught my eye that well. Some of them are fun to play but i've only been playing barebones which has kill confirmed/domination/tdm so i don't know how well they play on S&D. For someone looking for a game to smash out for a few months it's perfect, if your looking for another COD4 whereby you can still play it years later and its just as fun i wouldn't hold any hopes.
