COD4 doesn't need VN to organise events.
COD4 doesn't need VN to run pickups.
COD4 doesn't need VN to create channels.
COD4 needs VN to publish an action plan and see them recruit people to help execute said plan if VN want to continue being the governing body for this game.
Currently VN don't have anybody to compete with, they need some competition in order to stay active and motivated. This makes it boring for them and they have no pressure to succeed.
Sad thing is, though... there's some sort of a monopoly going on here. If VN get given negative feedback or if anybody starts their own initiative that competes directly with VN, then I'm seeing comments and topics deleted.
Nothing against VN, all I'm saying is they need a kick up the backside. And I say that with all due respect.
All I said about the channels was that COD4 doesn't need VN to create them. Invite channels are a good idea, but "Academy" and "Preinvite"... seriously, wtf?
Invite channels should be used for teams to discuss tournaments, events, rulesets, and also play against each other.

A Map Developer invine , who is the designer and maker of mp_dahman_b6 . VN was meant to buy mp_dahman_b6 , when the map was ready invine didn't trust VN , so he sent VN a buggyy version to see if VN would pay up , after VN received the map , VN blocked and deleted invine off xfire , and not paying £150 for invine services what was agreed .
Luck VN didnt received the finished map , what would of worked
VN Searched for a map maker, already in possession of a design made by kleinemann, invine was drafted to make the map, it was almost complete then he started making changes, didn't deliver a final version and disappeared, reappeared with dahman_b6 when tsuyoshi was making hideout and hasn't been seen since.

I admire Kosh and Seanza for what they do, but i dont have the time to organise a LAN, i can hardly attend any of them as spectator.

Pathetic seeing all this arguing inside the community, this is why in some peoples eyes its shit. Admittedly VN have done a few good things, but not near as much as they said they would. Either VN need to get a move on and prove to the community that they can actually meet their goals, or a whole new organisation should be started, one based upon inside community members with appropriate experience to actually get the job done, and get it done properly.
Without VN, COD4 probably died right after COD5 and/or 6, if not after black ops.

Didn't VN unite the core of the cod4 community? By hosting cups, boosting people to pay up for LANs? (look at how vanner boosted people to go the last AEF).
And how were the channels in cod1? Right you have invite and beneath that nothing.
Same with cod2, just in CoD4 preinvite came, and later on even academy for the lower tier players, academy did boost teams to a certain extent, and therefore boosted CoD4. Since when all the academy teams were still in Cod4.wars, they would never EVER pay up for big (.eu) lan.
If AEF did happen, it would reach the 48/64 teams limit, just like it did last year.....

Why act so imature?? the only thing you do is making VN look even worse...
A Map Developer invine , who is the designer and maker of mp_dahman_b6 . VN was meant to buy mp_dahman_b6 , when the map was ready invine didn't trust VN , so he sent VN a buggyy version to see if VN would pay up , after VN received the map , VN blocked and deleted invine off xfire , and not paying £150 for invine services what was agreed .
Luck VN didnt received the finished map , what would of worked
VN Searched for a map maker, already in possession of a design made by kleinemann, invine was drafted to make the map, it was almost complete then he started making changes, didn't deliver a final version and disappeared, reappeared with dahman_b6 when tsuyoshi was making hideout and hasn't been seen since.

I admire Kosh and Seanza for what they do, but i dont have the time to organise a LAN, i can hardly attend any of them as spectator.
I can show you a few things that i can do, but those are not finished yet
1) never donated to VN
2) donated a fuckin small 0-5$ (srsly is it BIG money?)
and at the end - VN have done more than all of u trolls blaming VN and posting messages full of cringe
seriously fuck off when you cheated then beg for forgiveness when you knowingly cheated to get good which you failed to do.
and i heard u cheated (means donated to codehook or x22 or whatever)
ye lets donate to cheat-makers companies its MOOOOOOOOOORE better than VN

i didn't donate, but i never won't fuckin whine on VN, they'r doing great job and i respect them as an organization and as a group of the people at least TRYING to help community
edit: on the other hand - look at that kid Sulph8 who bought cheats for 10-20 euro for a "FUCKING GAME"
thats a looooot better and helps our game to improve! :D

However, people shouldn't see them as their mother, they don't and can't do everything for us, we have to learn to be independent, like a child.
e.g kosh, seanza, virtual challenge etc..then there's people who need to sign up to these lans to keep the scene alive, dont see how VN have anything to do with those things yet people say VN are killing the scene..zzzz

Wasnt, the whole idea of Vita Nova to keep cod4 alive? Due to the community sticking to one game?
Didn't VN unite the core of the cod4 community? By hosting cups, boosting people to pay up for LANs? (look at how vanner boosted people to go the last AEF).
And how were the channels in cod1? Right you have invite and beneath that nothing.
Same with cod2, just in CoD4 preinvite came, and later on even academy for the lower tier players, academy did boost teams to a certain extent, and therefore boosted CoD4. Since when all the academy teams were still in Cod4.wars, they would never EVER pay up for big (.eu) lan.
If AEF did happen, it would reach the 48/64 teams limit, just like it did last year.....
Did things really get wor se?
TLDR version:
CoD4 would of died after cod5 and/or 6 without VN.
