So i was bored today and thought id make an extremely noob promod tutorial, literally nobody on this forum will find any of this stuff usefull but maybe somebody who just came from xbox might which is who its targeted at. It's the first time ive tried any type of tutorial vid of me talking so its pretty shit and rusty. I don't expect anybody here to like it as im aware this is tek9.
The videos focused on crash, pretty long, 9 minutes, instead of focusing on 1 area of the game i kind of went on a couple stafing, really fucking standard nades point and throw, basic smokes and "commentated"(more talking in a boring voice) some demo rounds as i saw somebody ask for "pro's" to do that. I'd like to do more and especially advanced one's in the future if people actually think this shits worth while, i guess every little helps to promote promod in media.
anyway constructive feedback is ofcourse welcome and some ideas for other videos if i do one.
I'm also boring as fuck so be prepared to be bored.
p.s thanks to hadz/miracle/ptER for being the dummy for the nades sections
oh yeah and if you actually like this video somehow and want to put it on your promod channels or w/e to promote promod more il be happy to upload the video somewhere
thought id clean the thread up abit and just post links

had some ideas but i think most will come down to the individual's instinct;
-deciding when to hipfire vs ads (particularly with the bigak when it can be nice at 100metres away one round but useless at 2metres the next :D)
-deciding when to tap fire vs full auto (perhaps based on how much is showing, if they've seen you, their distance to cover, etc)
-how to abuse sound (faking bomb plant&defuse / deliberate footsteps away then crouching back / hearing a weapon pickup or reload/ faking a reload / using silent drops / etc)
-how to read your opponent early and adapt in the opening rounds to get as many as possible when the pressures on in knockout comps (in a first to 13 in a cup or at lan you dont have much time to work them out)
combined with going through positions/nades/smokes etc i think there's plenty to talk about to grind out a good selection of vids, best of luck with it
Do more! I know friends of mine who would find this interesting/useful. Will be linking them to it now.

Some aspects which might be worth mentioning in whichever output might come:
- the "late nade waiting game" where nades are thrown at unexpected times or the impact zone is moved slightly or both
- spots to be smoked and explanations when and why they are useful and when and why they are not, maybe some other ones on Crash or on other maps
- roles, positions, routes and spots for all classes played
- an explanation of basic glitches in the engine, maybe a personal approach to strafe jumping, how it was learned and what exactly is to be done to actually benefit from it despite there being various more less than more helpful guides online - the same for wall running and fast reloading, where it is useful or necessary
- the chess - like meta game of tactical thinking, how it is effective and what and how it can be read in enemies' actions
- ways to learn how to iron out weaknesses, how to analyse mistakes via demos, calls or team chat
btw any dl link?

* Ingram's seal of approval here *
otherwise good tutorial
Maybe also consider for the SMG especially for backlot attack what to do with a poor spawn stopping you from getting into the bombsite first?
