the scroll stopped working properly with 2 of my da's. when i scroll to change weapon it didn't change or smt it changed twice.
i never hit it hard or dropped it or anything..
I've played with the old Razer mice, the Deathadder, Logitech G5 + MX518, and I can honestly say that the XAI is the best mouse I have played with so far.. it fits perfectly in my hand, and I love the shape, size and weight of it and the fact that it's 100% customizable in terms of settings (buttons, cpi, hertz + several other features).
I had some issues with it stalling when I first tried it out, but changed USB port and that seemed to fix the problem.
In the end it's a matter of taste, but I certainly enjoy playing with the mouse.
No problems whatsoever, Fits me perfectly, I can finally have the sens i like all the time whereever i go without fucking around with settings
Those few that say it's bad should perhaps give reasons for it?
Otherwise it's a great mous
And all those settings has explanations so you can just read when you set it up

I use it but don't like it. The fact that it keeps breaking nearly every day is just stupid and its not just one faulty mouse because I have had 2 of them now. Only thing I can think is that my motherboard is fully compatible or something across them lines. When I next go home from uni, I'm picking up my 1.1 and using that.

After a certain amount of time the xai just stops tracking for like 0.5 - 1 second. Then that will happen every 1 min until I change the USB port it was in. Though then when I change USB ports the CPI changes to what I can only estimate being 1800. When I go to change it in the settings and it says it has its on 400, it doesn't. It makes all the movement erratic. So now I have 2/3 USB ports that the mouse will work in, and yesterday one of them broke.
Thing is that I know that the USB aint broke as I brought a DA and it works perfectly on all the USB ports on my PC. I would use the DA but just cant stand the shape.
My old xai used up all the USB ports so to speak so every time in game it would freeze. Very annoying though highly comical to my team mates. I brought a new one thinking it was a faulty mouse until this mouse did it to :(
save your profile, unplug the mouse, uninstall the driver, reboot, put the mouse in a USB port that you know it wont stall on, reinstall the driver, load your profile = win
yes it's light that's why they made 3.0 heavier
about skipping idk i can't make my 3.0 skip (they have the same sensor)
there is also the WMO 1.1 from this family (same sensor again) afaik it's even lighter than the IMO (i believe cooller uses wmo. at least he did @ dubai)
i only tested someone else's 3.0 at lan and i loved the shape and feel, dno about tracking
i have a 1.1 myself was only 10 euros so i thought whatever lets give it a go :P but dont really like it for gaming, like i said, very light and when i do a fast movement it sometimes spazzes out (rarely, but still)
cba with steelseries support, it takes about a year for them to get back to you. And I'm home in less than 2 weeks :) I'm sure the 2 usb ports left working will hold out till then (I hope)
I have all steelseries stuff probably cause I got it all for free but I love all of it the xai is my favorite mouse and before that I used the 518. Though I cant wait to try their 7H's they look sick.
i bought one, and the scroll didn't work properly from the start, not registering some of the clicks, gotta send it back now and they're gonna send me a replacement, fuckin ballache.
I think all the Xai mouses tracking on the scroll wheel is fucked up? I've had it like a month now and it's pissing me off..

I love my Xai mouse, but the first time I had it, I updated it, and it became a crappy mouse. Sure enough, when I replaced it, it was working fine. I never placed drivers or updated it again. So if you don't need to customize or set macros, I don't see any need to use drivers with this mouse. All the "Exact" features is right under your mouse. :)
The mouse is pretty comfortable BUT i cant get it on the same speed as my G5, got stock windows, no drivers no mousefixes. at 800DPI and 0.7 ingame. I cant get the Xai doing the same speed as my G5, tryed all CPI's from 400 to 5000, like 401/402/403 and so on. Sooo, imho its a shit mouse.
problem with get corectly sens is when you are going to configuration this mice by SteelSeriesXaiConfiguration.exe :) i think that anyone should configure this mice without this .exe but by software in mice ... by lcd ...

Well i've been using it for the past few days, and been loving it-it hasn't given me any problems as of yet.... but i noticed that u dont even need drivers? the XAI Configuration is to just set the settings on the mouse, then the profiles are saved INTO the mouse hardware, so its not like u need drivers ? or am i being dumb lol....
What software/firmware versions do you have z1n0?

DA SUX! :p until i start getting problems on this xai, fingers crossed.
This is absolutely the most comfortable mouse i have ever played with. But i've had some minor issues with it. The sensor is really sensitive so you have to blow out dust from it after a while.
Another problem is that if your mousepad gets static, like mine, the xai doesn't work as good. The pointer skips up and then down all the time when you move the mouse. Kind of hard to aim imo.

Just changed to intellimouse 3.0, anyone else use it
the best mouse i ever used altho the xai is almost the same,except it being a laser mouse.
