recently on cod4, ive been having a problem,
when i change CFG`s and delete others it still rusn off my old settings and name, i even took the cfg completely out and it still ran with old settings, wth is stopping my new cfg from taking affect and where is the other one, i even searched my files for a config_mp.cfg and its not there could the one on my desktop be affecting it? im getttng really annoyed at this.
could somone plz help

It would have been a smarter idea to remove the browns from the tube ... as this would have prevented the london bombings.

Also you might just want to remove some crap of your pc.
Might sound weird but sometimes the problem is linked to something which doesn't play a part in the problem at all.
2. Click on
User Account Control settings link.
3. Move the Slider to Never Notify
4. Click OK to make the change effective
5. Reboot.
u dont ever need to run as admin again, as long as ur profile is not restricted

donno how its done on vista but if you have windows 7 it should say above the folder Organize, Include in libary, Share with, burn and compatibility files, click the compatibilty option and it shows you the hidden files in your folder, check that you havent got any there, also for your folder options right click and hit properties then check that "Read me" is not ticked in any of the folders becuase any changes you make will be reverted back and also wont let you change settings sometimes
