Custom Map - de_inferno for cod

Hello!
First of all, im gonna introduce myself. Some of you might know me, but for the most part of this comunity im a unknown. Well, my name's Ricardo, im from Portugal, 26 years old. I worked for a media design studio for 2 years. I play cod4 since it was launched, and played cs1.6 for 5/6 years i guess.
Recently we've been seeing some new custom maps being pre-released, some of them have potencial, some of them dont. We "all" know.. Well, i personally feel that we really need new maps, maybe a couple. Cod4 needs some refreshment. I hope vitanova brings something new too.
So, after this being said. I've been working for 1 month now on a remake of de_inferno from cs1.6. I know there is somewhere a de_inferno for cod4, but its really poor. Its by far my favorite map from cs1.6, and I think it could be adapted to cod4 very easily. I dont have any screenshots to show you, this cause im too busy in a lot of projects. And cause I want to see some 'feedback' first. Making a map involves too much time and i dont want to spent it just that in the end it goes to trash.
For me, mp_strike is by far the best map in cod4. Its good balanced. It has an easier bombsite to attack and a hard one. And its not random as crash or crossfire. Dont get me wrong. I like the maps, but crash is just too small, and crossfire is just a street ffs.
My key points about the map:
- no explosive cars (already destroyed cars)
- no large area in middle (strike has a huge middle area)
- possibility to get near the objectives without being spotted (like B strike)
- simple but detailed map without many doors or windows, or even rooms without any utility
- good on fps but with nice graphics (like crash and not like backlot or cross)
Well, i hope i dint bothered u guys too much.

- no explosive cars (already destroyed cars) - I dont see the fun in that only because you can have someone "camping" behind it so theres no real chance that he will move.
- no large area in middle (strike has a huge middle area) - Then the maps gonna be full of +15,+20 etc etc. Someone will perfect a nade that will kill more or less half the team in a tight area.

What happened?
I know there is somewhere a de_inferno for cod4, but its really poor
But yeah, the prob with cars is that a broken car is equal to shield and a nonexploded is both a-bomb and a bug, concidering the windows you can smoothly look through from closehand with the right config.
And you should also concider the thing about the map not being to narrow, because of tac nades and so forth.

Personally Cars that blow up are brill becuase it stops the car camping crap
Also, Small areas are ok for 5vs5.....but i garentee this map will go public...
therfore dire with more then 5 per side as its probally to small.
Mix it up, bit of both,
Large areas & small ones, blown up cars, cars that can be blown up etc etc.
Very good idea thou, and i hope that it comes off.
Promod serioulsy needs new maps !
Otherwise, sounds promising. As long as there's sufficient testing/feedback/modification cycle good things will come out of it but be prepared to have the end result look less than 50% like the original in terms of layout/LOS/cover just because of how CoD4 gameflow works. ;p

infact css is shit
It will need less chokepoints because in 1,6/CSS it has 3 chokepoints that any smg/ak can just spray to bits and get the round
You will most likely(In my opinion then) have to build more attack routes or make the entrances bigger
Although it might be interesting to put it forward with 3 chokepoints as it will require a substantial amount of teamwork to get into the bombsites that way =)
im just using inferno for layout of the map. ofc, it has to get bigger entrances for bombsites.
im almost done with bombsite A. B is still a mess :S
i hope to upload some screens or even vids of it soon
this is harder than i expected. now that i have to put detail and correct bugs/exploits it seems that they never stop appearing..

If you changed apps run out to something else /changed the whole house it would make it a lot more playable as it would give another place to push, for a basic structure though inferno is pretty good.
