£120 or €138 euro roundtrip from London. Although going via copenhagen. For direct flight it's about 50 pounds more.
From amsterdam it's about 80 euros each way though.
Good news. However this is the 3rd event in Denmark in 6 months and has a lot lower prize purse than the others. Will be interesting to see how many teams would definitly go.
this is the same layout as CC7 if I gathered everything right, 10 teams minimum, 5k prize purse....48 teams would perhaps generate 9k prize purse like CC7?
anyway, get this and TEX on same week and I think more teams will attend than if they'd need to travel twice to denmark in october (I think TEX is in october but no exact date released?)
how is it the euro is basically the same as the pound now so 100e = 96 pounds thats what rate i got 2day say 200/250 pounds entrance for a team cheap flights into one of the many major uk airports?
this is true. its called spend smart - just cos your out in the foreign doesnt mean you have to spend half your budget on pizza and cola. stick to the tap, go to the grocery store buy some stuff, make a sandwich.
Found flights from some Norwegian airline for like £130 return ticket, which I suppose you'd save money in the discounted hotel they say they're offering anyway, if not Borcster posted a good deal too :)
sweden is a good place whit alot of snow and very cold weather during winter and during summer it always rains so u gotta stays inside and play lolz....
This is getting ridiculous tbh. Yes, we want to see a major boost in activity, but god damn it, people can't keep pumping out money. Once to denmark = np, Twice to denmark = a bit excessive. Three times having to pay a roundabout trip to denmark ruins people financially :S:S:S:S
its understandable that not many international teams could afford to go to denmark, but surely, It shouldn't be a problem for Danish and German teams no? Could even go by car.
Kinda hard to combine 2 LANs even if they are in 1 week span, there are probably some people going to school and some college stuff to attend, work as well...
to far away from UK/NL, wich means alot money with flights :(
From amsterdam it's about 80 euros each way though.
That's nevertheless not a lot of money.

tryed searching for denmark in easyjet it wouldnt come up !!
Most players are 18+ anyways so the age restriction shouldn't be a problem.
Still, good for the CoD 4 community as a whole.
I make a new cod 4 lan in Bosnia and Herzegovina xd
prize

conflict with tex?
But yea, this event will most likely conflict with TeX.
40 seater = 8 teams.
Not exactly an expert on coaches but organising a LAN bus might be a cheaper way of doing it.
