Hello dear community!
As you can see from the title, I wanted to promote ESL a bit.
As a game, CoD2 is not that popular on the ESL but I could bet that half of you didn't even try it or you don't even know anything about it.
Why to play on the ESL ?
- Because you are able to win lots of prizes (f.e. premium accounts/money prizes - depending on cup prizes).
- You are able to play
clean matches. Just imagine how is it when you play this game leisurely, without any doubt you will get outhacked or anything similliar to.

What is it?
- ESL anti-cheat, prolly the best anti-cheat here on the scene, at least for CoD2. The amount of cheaters is minimal or there aren't any at all. All people who ever hacked there were busted within 2 weeks. The point of that anti-cheat is that it was made by people who have never had a profit from it. A lot of money is invested in ESL Wire and you can really rely on it while playing. It was made with the point to stop cheaters, not to earn money by selling bypasses all around, as "Tomislav Zub?i?" did with TZ-AC so he investigated crohacks aswell. Same with UAC, I don't believe it was the only "anti-cheat" organisation.
Actually, the my point here is to attract your attention and motivate you to move from CB to ESL.
For all those guys who will comment this like "we have nothing from this, by moving from CB to ESL", my question is : What do you get there on CB except your moment ranking and millions of cheaters who are returning all the time?
At the moment, ladders on ESL are "letsayit" empty. The whole scene there is dead except a few of us from Croatia who are the part of .cro "Best of" cups. For example, "Best of Burgundy" etc.
With this post I would like to see how much of you are interested to become a part of the ESL CoD2 scene. For beginning, we could create some .eu cups to motivate all others for this move!
All you need to do is to write your suggestions about it, do you agree with it and after all, all you need to do is to join us. Then we can start with everything I mentioned above.

head, tzacv2 is almost released but crohax will release bypass for it even before tzacv2 will be out on the scene. It's sad true that today's investigators of anti-cheats always contribute to the development of bypasses and ESL is not doing it, that's why I want to move there.

About ranking, why is it dire? It is almost same like on CB, you start from 1000 and you go on, depends on your wins/loses.
The main fact that should motivate you to move to ESL should be enjoying in clean gaming, not a money.
I don't think you guys are playing this game to earn some money, at least not on CB.

As many others I wasn't informed about ESL before I got banned on CB (because of adding RWBs) but now I like it a lot. CB haven't done anything 'corrupted' to me so don't think that only reason why I support ESL is because of my CB ban.
Even cups in games such as CoD2 that is not active on ESL, have prizes such as premium accounts and servers (depends if there is sponsor). If game was more active there could be much, much bigger prizes. In 2008. team dignitas won 1500€ on ESL ONLINE cup (just gives you information how sure the creators of ESLWIRE are). Currently there is some SC2 cup that has prizes for first 4 places (best razer 'equipment').
About eslwire, it is really nice program. You can chat with your buddies, search war (game rooms) and it is used as anticheat. It is really nice to have all these things in one program... No need for TZ-AC/UAC3, xfire and irc.
Most of you never tried versus or probably haven't heard of it. When your team is not online and you're freakin' bored and wanna play some matches that aren't some random PCWs you can play versus. On ESL almost every game has versus. You just have to pick game and size of team, also you can insert gameserver if you have and it will automaticaly find 9 more players that you will play with. You'll chose one of 2 maps that are provided.
Random map ladder - as everybody are afraid to play some other maps except toujane/dawnville/burgundy just not to lose their points, ESL is able to make ladder that will randomly choose map.
MVP (most valueable player) - this thing is introduced to latest 'best of toujane' cup. 1st, 2nd and 3rd team will chose who was by their judgement best player on cup. Best player will join 'Hall of fame'. As this thing is new, it is still not considered 100%.
ESLWIRE as a anticheat - it updates every week and as b1z already said, money was invested in this program not like everybody else who makes AC for free.

I don't see ESL supporting cod2 so why would you switch? CB is going to release a new mod soon that should fix a lot of problems + it actually has cups that are active (oc/ec).
CB is working on a moneycup just like ESF and we are trying to get some sponsors so we could give some servers + hardware to the winners.

It is nice to hear that TZACv2 is finally done but again, it is free program and as T.Z. said if he's not gonna get any profit out if it, he's gonna close it... It is true that people would be more focused on bypassing ESL wire if CoD2 was more active on ESL but if I'm right, CoD4 is more active on ESL than on CB and yet there is no bypass.
Talking about CoD2@ESL is pointless cause it has low activity.

dont get me wrong but there were certain ppl at cb who kept blocking new ideas brought into the system and they are still there so ur saying they changed all of a sudden? and how can we as a user know about ideas like new cups/ac etc when no ones bothering to post any news on cb? i always claimed cb aint using its big potential so wud be a chance to change something

atm there is a topic on internal forum to change some major rules and making the rules more userfriendly.
you have to understand that if we take away some rule we always have to make sure that some people take it to far.

Current admins are pretty active atm and I had a conversation with one of them about this, that's why I've posted this here.. will post here once again if we me some cups there so you could participiate in it, it should be an action to motivate you to join us there.. :)
also for the system of esl wire, when you got pending matches, you're able to play with it, read more on esl page if u don't get me immidiately
so u wud rather play against unclean team every day instead of trying 'hard' website? have u ever visited any other league site? cybergamer? edom?...

Thats bullshit. Only in the lower regions on cb are hackers 1000-1600
1800+ is like for 99 percent clean. U know why? Due the fact that the players that play in the 1000-1500 zone are dire and you can easily kill them without being obvious. When those retards get higher they face good players and u always see they make dumb decisions cause they needed the round. If they win.... (always 21-19) U ask demo then they wont upload and if they will they will get timestamped - BAN and they rwb.
So stop talking bullshit if you are not playing on the ladder.

as i already said before, don't take this as a league fiight or w/e. we just mentoined few good stuff that esl has, nothing else. did we come here and start shiting about cb? have we said anything bad about cb? no we didn't. this topic is about to tell people good stuff and introduce them to esl as many of them aint.
if i may ask, do you feed ur family by playing cb wars/cups? since u asked what prizes u can get
We had a lot of ladders on clanbase (cod2) and they all die out after a while, look at the regional ladders.
I remember playing the rush mod and yes its nice that you can rush but i doubt that it will get really active and about the random map ladder, yes it could be fun playing some random maps but no point opening a ladder if just 5 clans are playing it.
If we see that a lot of players want it we will open it.
I don't know what inf wanted to do but a lot has changed and we have a decent system now.
@head - not sure if serious, but i think th current system is just shit and nothing more.
Clanbase needs more decent cups with prices and not some random ladders, thats all!

the main reason why I'm not playing at esf is because of couple of cheaters in there, especially current team mamut.si and few of the rest, tz-ac is pretty bad anti-cheat to motivate me to play p'n'p cups
in official esl matches you need to upload your screens, otherwise you are losing the match where you didn't do it..

according to you ESL is so much better and they invested so much into an anti cheat but still they can't even host a decent cod2 cup.
Somebody els said he played LoL on esl for the prices, CB had a 2500euro LoL cup.
Instead of changing to ESL, maybe you should suggest some things that could improve CB.

esl wire works with kernel drivers, TZACv2 will also work with kernel drivers so it should be a lot harder to bypass it and they can detect hacks faster.
We will release a new update regarding anti-cheat + rules + etc
note: people spend money buying cb accounts and they buy some hardware spoofer or even buy new parts for their computer and there is little we can do about it since we can't ban on a hunch, we need to be 100% sure that we have the right guy.

The only reason why ESL is not being played in COD2/COD4, it's in the number of cheaters that are afraid to step it :D
