hi again, after all, my brother let me use his HD if I need to render a .avi to convert it to x264, but I have a really disturbing problem...
I downloaded a program called StaxRip, that is almost the same of Megui (i get infinite problems using megui so I'll use this program to render the movie), and after some days using it and studing the codecs and differents settings, I can never get a quality/size good rate like most of the movies. I tried x264 and XviD renders with 328490238409238490 different settings, but: or they size like 60 mb for a 5 sec prerender and looks perfect, or they size like 20 mb for a 5 sec prerender and looks awful.
I also used a profile called "morrigu x264" that is suposed to give a perfect quality and a low size, but when I render the 5 secs prerender with that profile it looks perfect but it sizes like 80 mb.
So I need help for that (the codec settings), here are the screenshots of the default settings options of the program: (the movie reso is 1280x800 @ 60 fps)

that is a default setting of the program, I didn't used that bitrate to test my prerenders |

i dno, like i said, ive never used that program before so no idea :D if u download the newest version of megui then i can help u out with some settings :)
oh and my megui used to get like FATAL ERROR or watever and i couldnt use it, i just downloaded the newest version and it was fine ^_^ |
