I use for a long time fraps to encode (video + sound) and everything worked well. But for a week, encoded sound is really rotted, as if it recorded the mic. I looked everywhere, tried several things but nothing changes.
Somebody knows where from it can come?

So if i understand wot you say is , you want to let it record straight from the pc , not tru ur microphone , if its that goto options and turn StereoMixer on ;p unless thats not wot ur looking for. |

I think this is whats happening to rdz, one day he'll record a clip with great sound qual from fraps. The next it'll be utter dogshite |

I finally found where from it came. The pc's sound was simply at most, and that saturated during capture. It's often on the stupid things for which we look most. Thank you all the same for your help |

rdz, make sure u start recording the sound BEFORE you load up cod4.. took me a while to figure that one out |
