I have recently started making a CoD4 frag movie and I'm wondering what is the best Rendering Quality, Resolution and format to choose when i complete it. I'm using Sony Vegas 8. I play it as Preview(Full Screen) when making it and i looks good, but when i end up finalizing it looks terrible(Using .mp4 format).
Also, I saw a previous thread about creating a flash on a video and i was wondering is that method still useful if i want to create a lot of flashing very close to each other to go with the music.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

i recommend 6500 kb/s for xvid @30 fps
and 4000 kbs for x264 (.mp4) @30 fps
ABout the flash thing: I prefer using "Brightness and contrast" pretty easy to use with keyframes. Advantage is you can simply copy the keyframes on other clips to make them all look the same
Just make your first flash with brightness and contrast , go to the next clip , add brightness and contrast effect to it and copypaste the keyframes from the other clip :D
Here´s a list of easy to understand tutorials for basic fragmovie effects in vegas. Really easy to understand some of them are videotutorials ;) www.ninteh.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewf orum.php?2
