This is worth knowing:
Some of you may have read about the saga ENVY-GAMING had at i34 in regard to someone unplugging a network cable at the mains and the multiplay 'support' staff refusing to help claiming it was a problem with demons computer, and saying the only thing he can do is re-format.
So i've been following this up, as demon was forced to play the majority of the matches on KustomPcs demo PC on a 26" tv, with no sound, on the shop stand, right next to the rock band stage. We were basically 4v5 ;).
Anyhow, my first support ticket on the matter was on the 11th of August they then replied on the 21st of August saying it will take a week to investigate finally on the 17th of September they replied once more!
The matter is now resolved, but it is worth knowing for all people that the service you buy at and I-series event (unless otherwise states) is for the participation of a lan. Nothing to do with the 'events' that are run whilst you are there. So basically you pay your ticket to turn up and plug your computer in.. If all the events were cancelled, or for any reason not your fault but Multiplays you couldn't partake in say the COD4 tourney then legally you're not entitled to a refund.
Just thought it maybe useful for people to know ;) |

idd, it's like when they changed the COD2 tournament @ i32 to COD4 people complained by they said you're not entitled to it |

when i talked to them about cancellation and they said it would all be fine etcetc. They said i would find out if my ticket had been cancelled on the Wednesday before the event, instead i find out on the 12th of September :) |
