Cyberathlete Belgian League
Hello everyone,
Maybe have you already heard about CBEL?
What is CBEL?
The Cyberathlete Belgian League is an Internet electronic sports league.
It gives you the possibility to play versus others belgian teams under the CBEL organisation.
Three Counter-Strike 1.6 tournaments are planned for the year 2008. Separated by 1 month of space the dates are September 24, on October 22 and November 24, 2008.
Wednesday 22 Octobre 2008 will be the next edtion of the league.
The registrations for the Counter-Strike tournament are open now.
The first 3 will receive prizes. These are being negotiated, they will be communicated as quickly as possible on our website.

A Dutch version is planned.

there are 2 sides to belgium if I'm correct - french and dutch |

Belgium is multilanguage , dutch (main) then french (fags) and german (small part). |

Here we are at the foot of the second edition of the league.
A total of 12 teams were selected on the 16 maximum allowed.
The list of teams and matches groups are now available on the site at this address:

We ask teams to be present tomorrow before 20H on the IRC channel # CBEL.
Matches begin at 21 H. A list of servers and HLTV will be available.

Nous voilà arrivés au pied de la seconde édition de la ligue.
Au total 12 équipes ont été sélectionnées sur les 16 maximum autorisées.
La liste des équipes ainsi que les matchs des groupes de poules sont maintenant disponibles sur le site à cette adresse :

Nous prions les équipes d'êtres présentes demain dès 19H sur le channel IRC #CBEL.
Les matchs débuterons à 21 H. Une liste des serveurs et des HLTV sera également disponible.

the funny thing about this, is that it proves that some people are to stupid to know that Belgian is a country that can be devided into 3 societies, the Dutch-speaking, the French-speaking and the German-speaking.
