Hi
I'm going to buy a new PC mostly to play COD4 and this is what I choose. I want you to tell me what isn't good or to confirm me that this is a good setup.
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400+ psu cooler Arctic-Cooling MX1
Motherboard: ASUS P5Q PRO (Intel P45 Express) ATX
GPU: ATI Radeon HD4850 512Mo (noname or Sapphire ? is there a big difference?)
RAM: Corsair 4 Go (Kit 2x 2Go) DDR2-SDRAM PC6400 5-5-5-18 or Corsair XMS2 DHX 4 Go (kit 2x 2 Go) DDR2-SDRAM PC6400
HDD: Samsung SpinPoint F1 - HD502IJ - 500 Go 7200 RPM 16 Mo Serial ATA II (bulk)
PSU: Corsair TX650W 650W ATX 12V 2.2
Case: I'm hesitating about the case between these ones
-Antec Nine Hundred
-NZXT Alpha with window www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00068582.html
-Thermaltake Matrix VX with window www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00036983.html
-Thermaltake Soprano with window www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00030694 .html
So could you tell me which one is the best(I think you're going to answer "antec 900!") but i want a case quite silent/good-looking with good "coolers" and suggest me other ones if you want between 40 and 90 euros(maybe Cooler Master).
Thanks for your help
PS: tell me if you need any other links and with that setup am I going to get 250 fps stable with good graphics in COD4? |

get ram with better timings, preferable 4-4-4-12, also i suggest waiting for the new EO steppings of the e8400, and get a 4870 if its within your budget, then you got yourself some sweet rig. |

the timings don't really make a difference with intels...
ddr2-800 is nice
you can take the cheapest manufacturer for the gfx-card, although i'd suggest an hd4870. |

you should pick a HD4870 at least. Or if you can wait a bit longer and just wait till the prices drop for the HD4870x2, wich i'm waiting for now :D |

timings matter when it comes to overclocking and if you buy a pc with an e8400 and dont overclock it, itd be a waste since you can get them thing up to 4ghz with ease. |
