Hi y'all ,
I got some problems with fraps , there might be a fix for this already i searched for it but i haven't found it on here or other forums , I had fraps demo before but then it had fraps.com at top of my video's , so i was like lets download the full version , so i did everything went well untill i wanted to open fraps , It doesn't do something I keep clicking on the icon to open and nothing happens.
If this thread was made before link me or something , if not would be great to help me out.
ps : tried cl_avidemo but takes way to long to record a frag , and cba to wait that long ;p.

If you have previously had the trial version, you can't use a pirated full version unless you can clean your registry (Fraps puts a thing there to stop this), I'll see if I can find a link to the program I used.

Ok, Here's how i managed to get mine working. First you open regedit and search for both "fraps" and "fps1" (minus the quotation marks) and delete anything it comes up with. You then need to find all the keys I have listed below and delete them as well. The last entry is a file that will be in your temp folder, it wouldnt hurt to delete all the *.tmp files whilst you're at it.

This method worked for me after installing the 2.7.4 trial running windows xp professional sp2. Obviously you need to uninstall the trial version before you delete these keys. Again, do this at your own risk yadda yadda. No guarantee that this will work for you, but it did for me, didnt even require a restart. Let me know how you guys get on. |

uninstall the current version, open your registry, delete the remaining files, restart pc and install new one |

Cheers guys Managed to get it working ;p I did all the registery thing and then download the one Aaron linked me to , now its working , thx :). |

make a new Windows account download fraps install it there and then voilá it works |
