hi guys
i see that a lot of people is going to join or already joined army. I'm a part of this guys.
I just want to know why, your motivations... for money or an other reason.

Indeed I've only come across the SA80 in real life, the problems that I was told about was jamming and the firing pin as well as bad resistance to dirt and stuff (love the Finnish RK casue it like never ever jammed) cause guns and shooting in general are a bit of a hobby of mine :p but yeah I guess the A2 must be an improvement then, I learned something new then ^^ |

The army is a mix, it contains some very intelligent people and some meatheads, just like many professions. of course you get your 16 year old school 'meathead' leavers, but at least they are taught some discipline, and they ain't roaming the streets causing trouble. but you also get some very skilled people in the army, medics, officers, electricians, top soldiers. some1 at my college got AABB at A-level which is pretty good and went into the Royal Marines. some people just like that career path, it dont really matter about intelligence |

Ye mate, nowa days the only cause is down to peoples shit admin, rare you get a stoppage. and the bit about the dirt thing, well look at the endurance course on the marines tests and youll see that it goes though mud, water filled tunnels and still fires at the end of it ^^ ; P |

Ive been in the army, dutch army called "luchtmobiele brigade" in english Air assault. it was heavy but I made it and i got now my red baret. The thing why i stopped was if you are an private soldier u are nothing. unless you grow higher in the company to sergeant or whatever. |
