The new CS team of MYM (ex-PGS) and winners of ESWC 2007 need to requalify for ESWC 2008.
Do you guys think that the decision is a good one or should the spot be transfered together with the team if it stays intact as it is in this case ?

you can be pro or against in this situation, but I think they deserve an invitation because of their victory last year, but apparently eswc doesn't want it that way :) ul for them, but I think they will win their qualifier easily in Poland anyway |

If I was ESWC I would grant them the invite aswell but after all its the orga who sent them to Paris and provided their funds so maybe the invite does idd apply to PGS ...
and about winning the qualifier ... without a doubt yup :) |

It's hard to decide... I understand the decision of the ESWC organizaton because in football, if Ajax qualifies - because of good prestations - for a direct invite in the next years championship, it's the club and not the players who qualify.
You can say, it's the whole team that left PGS, but that's the same in my eyes. If we want to be professional, we have to handel this professional. PGS is an established organization with a win at ESWC - doesn't matter if the players choose to transfer themselves to another organization. On the other hand, if PGS doesn't have a team anymore and they don't consider to take a new team, I would start a converstation with both parties and make an agreement, payment-wise.
It would be a pitty if such high-class team can't participate.

and as dfb stated earlier they couldnt attend the polish qualifier so they have to hope to get invited by ESWC
