So, it seems like the new cod has a lot to fix in order it to become competitive... We should start creating some rules and settings now, so that when the game comes out, we already have a ruleset instead of the hassle like we've had in cod4.
My suggestions:
- The basic ones:
1) Kill rewards off (UAV, artillery, dogs)
2) Bad perks off
3) Roundtimes
4) Tanks and jeeps off
etc.
- Real guns to the appropriate sides. There was no problem with this in vcod/cod2, so why would there be in codwaw?
- Lots of gun adjustments:
1) Bolt-action rifles should be made more deadly. You need 2 hits in order to kill someone...
2) Thompson seems just like the ak74 in cod4. Make it less deadly
3) The sniper should be more accurate from hip - from what I've seen, it's just like in cod4.
4) BAR shoots too slowly - make it faster.
5) Pistols are just like in cod1/2 - they need to be more deadly too.
6) Semi-auto rifles are just like in cod4, we need to put a fire rate limiter to them.
Note, the gun adjustments are based on the x360 beta, so changes may be done...
I had lots of other thoughts too, but I already forgot them. I'll be updating the topic as soon as we get some suggestions.

How amusing.
It's incredible that some simpletons are evening bothering trying to create competitive rules for this game. The game is an insult. WAKE UP. The games so bad it should come with a health warning because I know I'm not the only one feeling physically sick after playing the beta for 10 minutes.

get it its cod4 in worse as most shit cod4 has doesnt fit the theme.
then again this scene is too stupid to actually play decent comp-balanced stuff.

Idd, keep the sniper as it is, only add a little more damage (not too much), als on the rifles, add a little more damage, so u can kill a person by shooting upper body :). Legs or arms is no kill, keep it like that, dont make the game 2 easy to kill, so it will be a skilled game :). Cod4, evrybody could snipe, evrybody could use AK74u etc. Didnt like that. In cod1 there was a bigger difference between noobs and skilled ppl. Keep cod5 difficult to play, thats more fun in the end.
