I want more fps in cod4 :P i know it can because many people have the same stuff. Now i've got 91 constant.
My stuff:
Card = Asus 8800GT
Processor: e8400 @ 3GHz
Screen : 1680*1050
if you need more information pls tell
edit: whats the best way to record ?

Ok well..
Im running an 8800gt also but my processer is a outdated 3800+ dual core.
I have 3gb highspeed ram also
Anyway with all that i can get constatn 125, but i cap it to 250 for those rare places that i can actually get it constant.
So what im saying is, get a config (lighters is a fucking good one) and you will see a huge FPS boost.
You might need to lower your res however :)
I run 1440x900 and i could probably get 250 on 1024x7 but the game looks uglllllyyyyyyy.

91 constant... then change it to 125 with this : /com_maxfps 125 or 250 if u like and also change ps mode to 2.0

raz, rob-wiz good cfgs for fps imo...but just pick one and stick to it doesnt really matter...as #1 said u might need to lower ur resolution...i have 8800gtx and play 1280x1024...8800gt however has less memory then 8800gtx so u might experince some lag issues at high res (especially with AA on) |

I have a question... if anyone know why my fps drop from 100-125 to 40 in smoke? Is any command or what.. or is just my cpu? |

you should get 125 easily with that.
com_maxfps 125 tbh ... 91 constant sounds like it's on default. |
