A TUP ticket is £120 for the weekend but includes a top-spec PC, monitor, keyboard and mouse for the duration of the weekend - no restrictions on when you can use it or which games you play. This includes your £80 entrance fee, working out at just £10 per day for the hire of a Packard Bell iPower PC and monitor! A bargain if I ever saw one.

Would be interesting to ee if they'd allow the price to be added onto the cost for those already with tickets? |

if you've already paid for a ticket, you can just pay the extra £40 or w/e on top =) |

Funniest bit about the TUP at I34 was when Rob Mpuk admin tried to help Envy out by finding out if demon could use one of the 10 spare TUP pcs.
Upon speaking to the manager he went through a list of excuses:
1) Now they're reserved for the CS:S teams
Then was told they hadn't turned up
2) They don't have CS:S installed
Then was told it was COD4
3) They don't have that installed either
Then was told that all the other TUPs do
4) Yeah but these ones don't have hard drives
Ok, why not just say you don't want them to be used? Asshole ;) |

not being funny and starting random flame, but MPUK is run poorly, so I'm not surprised you got those hilarious responses from Rob.
I love his "you're banned from pickup because I don't like you" hahahahahaha best thing ever for the head admin to say.

Nah Rob was the helpful one.
Kirkyboy told me about the spare TUP machines so I went and asked Serious who were the only players using the entire section, they were cool with demon using it so I went to ask Harribo he said 'no' Rob then asked why not? and HArribo just did a pirate impression with his 1 eye so Rob ventured off to find a manager :)
Then he got the responses.
I'd ban you from a pickup for the same reason as Rob tbh Ryan :P. |
