Anyone know any good microphones for headphones that don't come with one
Im currently using a Zalman clip-on but it picks up an insane amount of background
I tried desk mics but that picked up my keyboard soo bad |

Not sure about a clip on mic but the Steelseries Siberia's mic is attached to the leads from the headset, which is a good thing i suppose |

The clip-on mic for my siberias is stuck to the top of my monitor, and it does a reasonably good job. Sometimes if I'm doing some hardcore typing people can hear it, but I tend to just mute it if that happens, or lower the sensitivity. It took a lot of tweaking to get it exactly right, I reckon that zalman one would be similar. |

My zalman is on the wire, so its not directly over my mouth. Its because of that I pick up so much background
I use PTT
I was hoping someone might have something that clips onto the headset directly, that you can position :< |

I used to clip the icemat siberia's mic to the top of my t-shirt, worked fine, then it later then broke :< |

I have the same problem with my desktop mic picking up my keyboard, I have a habbit of pressing my ptt key and then thinking about a call and not actually doing it so they here me keyboard bashing for about 20 secs instead. But then again I bought the mic for 99p on ebay. I here good things about the logitech desktop mic. |
