Although I absolutely condone the use of Promod for competitive games, when are these constant upgrades going to stop? Isnt it about time we settle with a certain ruleset and its settings and actually get a chance to get used to it? There'll always be players wanting something changed, adjusted or deleted, mainly because they're spoiled by the fact the dedicated community of the COD series puts so much effort into the game.
#14 "great , can we get pink & green player skins so we can see the enemy better plz xD
and do wolfenstein gfx + no recoil while were at it."
This guy's got a point. Though it was obvious COD4 fresh out-the-box was horrible for online gaming, especially in a competitive environment, I think you can also go over the top. Why not change the aspects of the game which really need it, and leave the rest of the game intact so that we'll actually still be playing Call of Duty 4 and not "Custom Duty" as the guy above stated.
No offense to the guys behind Promod - I believe you're doing a great job, i just feel the reason for the random results is because teams have to continuously adapt to new settings. |

No, because as 1 of the ex mym players pointed out it is due to not all 5 players in a team play with the same dedication and concentration as the rest and that is what makes those teams have random results.
A mod is a work in progress and will always remain a work in progress. Reason why you only see complaints is because the people that like the changes don't reply and don't have to. The group that agrees with the changes is a lot bigger then the few complaining.
For now the weaponmod is on my priority list as far as making cod4 competitive goes. |

I never said im unhappy with the changes made. I feel they were needed badly. Im just saying it would be alot better if we'd just stick to the adjustments everyone feels should absolutely be made, and eventually stick with one mod.

This is a MAJOR release, all previous versions are no longer supported. There are known to be game-breaking bugs in previous versions, and inconsistent registration, and I recommend to all leagues that they disallow all previous versions of Promod, within a reasonable period of notice.
So, has it been dealt with or not then? |

end of the day if u have a shit pc muzzle flash+smoke density can be rediculously thick and blinding had it on my old system. and im guessing if rake couldve turned muzzle smoke off and left flash on he would but obv @ this time hje cant probs cus IW are being shits and not realeasing the code or summit. promod wins and preety much everything done to the game via it has been a benefit for the game. GO GO PROMOD |

I play 44khz again cause it gets fucking annoying after a while :DDD

forcing maxpackets 100 is bad? have you not read the endless explanations of why setting it to 100 or to 63/83/whatever makes no difference, and its a fucking competitive game stop complaining about realism, go play hardcore or something. |

#47 it was concluded after the summerlans that the previous versions had inconsistent registration. As far as i have been informed no.
This version was not supposed to be released as it wasn't finished. So as far as i have been informed the answer to your question is no. |

i played a couple of wars on a night cup, what can i see:
1) aiming is much easier now - i'm happy
2) seems like there's no recoil, shooting at a wooden door even from long range with every weapon the bullets are very close to each others - i'm happy too
3) reg is the same as the beta 2.1.2 - i'm alway happy
Keep it up raf ;] |
