Hmm, interestingly enough there isnt a new thread for the 1.8 release.
Anyway, regarding the new release of beta 1.8c, Does anyone feel that the rego has significantly changed since maxpackets isnt locked on 63? It is ALOT more random now, sometimes the rego is amazing the others it isnt
I am not raging you raf1 (you get affended quite often) I'm just interested as to why the rego feels so different now? |

Mostly medium, 1024x764 res with physics turned off. All the glow/eye candy turned off etc. |

i am runnin 800x600 with EVERYTHING on Low or Off and i was getting 60fps at best.
Trying it on my actual hard drive instead of being installed on a USB portable hdd now |

sprint is abit buggy, ninja defuse is impossible without the sounds (I never try so #care but was better when it was in imoh). Also the + shite but raf allready said it was a mistake taking them out. |

jumping is probably the most broken thing in the game, doubt promod will be able to fix that though, thats an engine bug. Strange as it was fine in CoD2 (albeit being able to see slightly before your model comes up)
I wonder if it began when they "fixed" the vert glitch |

IMO the allies and axis is a bit weird as you never know which team is which, especially as it still shows up as Opfor/Marines on the scoreboard. If the scoreboard can't be edited i think it would be better to stick with the default team names. Otherwise I think Assault / Defense is a good idea. |

raf1 has already said he is changing it back to opfor/marine in the final release, settle grettle |

Played it for the first time.. Sorry, I think it's DIRE.
Haven't got a good word to say about any of it.. Doesn't seem to improve anything, just make it worse.

No, bottom in a 4v4.. but only because I decided it was more fun to kill myself than try and play (no joke).. I'm all for changes.. but they can't be as totally random as this mod makes them. |

I'm generally an AK47 user.
I was using a mix of the 47 & 74.. And the reg seemed totally random. Sometimes you'd spray the enemy to death with any weapon with no hits but sometimes it seemed you just got a lucky 1 shot head shot.
Desert Eagle seems like a hand cannon!
Sound seemed mixed up
I like the idea of the SMG being a little different, but I think it's either a smaller clip or less power. Not both. |

yes, the rego is a little random because of the FPS 30 bug
btw, AK74 is still the most powerful gun in the game even with the smaller clip and less damage |

kinda agree with ReKo
in a pickup today i saw some1 blatantly put a full mini AK clip in my back and front as i turned and not one reg'd, but 2 ak shots to his face dropped him. |
