Hi Andy,
We are sorry to hear that you can no longer make the event, you really will be missing out on fantastic weekend of frantic gaming fun!
Unfortunately it is with regret that I must remind you that tickets are not refundable within 30 days of the start of the event, and that we are now past that milestone. The only exception to this is explained in more detail below. In addition to this, I will also remind you that at no point may tickets be transferred between individuals, or transferred to another event. Both these conditions are stated clearly in the terms and conditions, to which you specifically agreed as part of the booking process.
In spite of the refund policy, there is one condition under which we may still be able to offer a refund past the refund deadline. Should the event sell out, we will attempt to re-sell the tickets of all those who wished to cancel but were not able to. This will be conducted in order of cancellation request. If we succeed in re-selling your ticket, we will contact you to inform you of the good news. As with all other refunds, there is a £10 cancellation fee per booking which will be deducted from the amount we return to you.
We have gone ahead and added your booking to the cancellation waiting list. If in the meantime your circumstances change and you are able to attend the event after all, please get in touch and we will remove your cancellation from the list and reinstate your place.
Hopefully we'll see you at one of our other events in the future. As always, should you have any further questions please let us know.
Regards,
Antony "Doc" Gardner
Well that's just fucking gay! Not only did I pay like £60 for the ticket because I ordered early.. But lets be realistic it's never ever going to sell out.
Fuckin Multiplay piss me off. About time another company rivalled them so they could stop being such fuckin wankers.

yes but some businesses also care about the customers.. Multiplay seem as though they do not from all the stories I've heard. |

Not sure yet whether i'll go.
Thing is i'd been looking to cancel it for ages but because the whole event is such complete and utter wank and has no organisation everytime I went to look into it I gave up.
Yes companies are in business to make money, but that doesn't give them the right to be complete and utter ass holes. Multiplay have given me absolutely no indication that they are anything less than a bunch of cock smokers who are only succesful through their domination of the scene. If another well backed company was to offer the same service they'd either have to change or go out of business.
Unfortuntely it's unlikely. |
