- Approx 75 teams accepted at start-up
- £10 Per player, per team for preliminary season ( CORE 5 / Backup optional )
- Each team also has a registered manager ( for any negotiations - be it altering scheduling for matches or transfering players ) ( manager can be a player if needs be )
- Teams are split into leagues of 15, based on skill level, voted for by respected community members
- Each team plays 2 games per week - Win 3 points - Draw 1 point
- As in online poker a team has a fund of 'fake money'. Each team starts on 0 and $500 for win - $100 draw. You could save up, become wealthy then splash out for the finest players, bring in players in certain areas or be silly with funds should you be the best team.
- £50 per core 5 x 15 = £750 for top of each league after season end ( preliminary season only - entry fee moves up in price next season ) Entry fee's reflect participant numbers - in order to maintain the most attractive prize purse possible.
- After each season, the bottom 3 clubs play each other once, team with least points goes down - Teams at the top also have playoffs, with one gaining promotion
- In the week between seasons, rosters are unlocked and teams can buy and sell players using their 'fake funds' - players can request transfers, or agree new deals for another season etc. Teams moving up can use their promotion bonus to capture a player that may help them in the next league up ETC
That's the basis of it, other interesting things could be incorporated such as;
> Super Sunday ( Best fixture from each league televised on QUADV )
> Interviews with players, managers etc - potential transfer requests etc
NOTE: LAN's would be like international breaks in professional football.
The concept is that this league becomes COD4, the team you have in this league is your team, as such you attend LANs with the roster you have, transfers are prohibited in season ( hence the inclusion of an optional backup player )

Btw I think this thread is designed - as any other thread on a public forum - to make people give their opinion, what I just did and that you tend not to understand. |
