Hello all,
I am at my boyfriends house at the moment and we decided to play Cod4 together and wanted to play a MPUK Pickup together.
When I play alone everything works out fine (except for me being a noob :D)
As soon as he is also in the server I get Connection Interrupted.
Is there something we should do to access the same server?
We did play on the same publics last week though, but now on MPUK servers it won't work.
Any ideas?

I've had a similar problem and can't remember what I did to fix it so I'm about as useful as a nun in a brothel! |

I remember having that problem in cod2, though can't really remember what fixed it. Try to change your net cable's place in the ADSL modem. If the modem has a NAT, you will have the same IP, and cod4 could go crazy because of that. (It shouldn't, but anything is possible :D)

The solution in COD2 was to change the net_port for the second, third computer and so on. This should still work for COD4. So try the following.
This only needs to be added on the second computer, or third (28962), etc. Then you can both join the same server.
On your desktop shortcut for COD4, right-click and go to properties. On the shortcut tab there is a field labeled "target." In that field it will say something to the effect of "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" . Yours may vary.
In that field, add this string: +set net_port 28961 after the quotes. Click apply, then close. Now launch the game.
Report back if it doesn't work :) |

Thanks for the advice and I'll report if it fixed it :D |
