maps look realy shit, hope not all of them are gonna look like this, but tbh i believe there will be some better maps, whats a cod title without carentan? even cod4 had it, lol.. maby its time to allow custom maps in a cod title? i dont understand why the stock maps are only being played in cod, even when they are so uber shit sometimes, this worked in enemy territory aswel so why not in cod5
import backlot from cod4 and matmata from cod2, and fix their flaws

When will (PC) game developers realise that less is more with regards multiplayer maps. Counter Strike provides an example of this, the maps ( nuke / dust / inferno / train ) are incredibly simple, but also really playable. The maps are diverse with regards to the different ways a team can approach them, whilst remaining fairly bland. The layout of the different routes etc is what renders them so enjoyable, hence the thriving competetive scene even now.
I don't give a fuck about sparkly lamps and a north-westernly breeze, i just want a well laid out map which is simple in design. |
