| I think this match is either make or break for the players over at Team Dignitas - they simply haven't been performing to their best ability recently, and unfortunately, this is not the team they wanted to come up against to regain their foothold in the competitive scene, allbeit not quite the full line-up for Button Bashers. Ever since the influentual player of Chris "blackmane" Kinnair stepped out of the Dignitas roster, they seem to of been struggling trying to find the correct style of play to suit them to retain their strong form. Even with one of the most experienced Call of Duty players in history playing in their roster (Michael "Mick" Bradshaw), they still haven't been able to make it click, which was seen just a few weeks ago when a lack of pace and fresh tactics proved deadly during a ESL UK Pro Series match, where Dignitas faced off against one of the other UKeSA Premiereship Semi-finalists, Reason Gaming. A match which resulted in a 05:13 loss, with Danny "SoCLoN" Perez O'Connor winning the majorty of the rounds, this didn't look promising for the fully British team, but like true Team Dignitas style, they would undoubtably strike back. Unfortunately, over the past few weeks the side have made some losses to teams which you wouldn't expect to be challenging the likes of Dignitas. Just to mention a couple would be UKeSA Alienware Cup participants Celsus, and the Hungarian side of Infinity Skills. The teams weaknesses was once again brought to light - to a lesser extent - just two days ago, during the ESL Intel Friday Night Game (IFNG), where Dignitas (with stand-in David "Zaccubus" Treacy) failed to capitalise over a mix of talented players (which consisted of D1ablo, revoltz, gErMaInE, phantasy & vanner) in what was more of a showmatch than a serious game. However, these results are all in the past, could this be the turning point for Team Dignitas? Now onto Button Bashers, a team which heavily relies on the SMG power of Christopher "nreo" Mead, who, as you may of noticed, is not attending the event due to passport issues (not in date, silly!), but in his place, we see the extremely well-rated former sniper of the YoYoTech Dragons, Jamie "hysobe" Harrison - the question is, can hysobe fit into ButtonBashers in time for them to prove to the community they are worthy of their position in one of the most well-respected organisations in Call of Duty 4? And this is, ultimately, what their success depends on. I would of definately predicted Button Bashers in the Final originally, but with the news that they wouldn't be using their full line-up, it is unfortunately a major set back for them, and as I mentioned before, their success totally depends on hysobe. However, I'm still going to predict ButtonBashers with a win, but not without overtimes - maybe I'll change my prediction when I see the maps, but assuming ButtonBashers get the luck of the draw with maps which they are strong on, I can see this being a 2-1 victory for them, but not without some tense clutches and some overtime! |

| The battle between the undisputed best team in Europe at the moment and fellow UK powerhouse. This is really the game people will be looking forward to the most out of the 2. Both Reason and TCM will be using their full team and will be going into to game at full force. There is quite a bit of history between the two sides, from their earlier encounters in both the online phases of this tournament (13-11 to TCM) as on LAN (i36, with TCM making an epic comeback taking 8 rounds in a row and LAN79 where Reason took 2-0 in the BO3 UB Final). With previous games going both ways, both teams will really be focussed on taking home the win, with TCM wanting to prove that they really are the better team and Reason wanting to show the word exactly why they are considered the best team in Europe as we speak. Reason have recently reinforced their lineup with the addition of the Fin slwx, who has replaced Zenith, and so far it seems to be working like a charm for the mixed British side. Their playstyle seems to click even more now, and with an eager new player who is trying to prove to the world he can frag on LAN as well as he can online, the will is certainly there. Accompanied by d1ablo, widely considered one of the better SMG players in the game, kammyz, the legendary scope and revoltz and ligthers their trustworthy AK partners in crime, this team has met themselves a fast and agressive playstyle, which is perfectly suited for a fast game like COD4. Then there is Team Coolermaster. Together for a quite a long time (considering the unstability of the UK and COD scene in general), the side have been working their way through all major tournaments and rankings and have recently really made the jump to the top. Vasquez, widely reknown for his legendary awareness and keenness ingame, together with the deadly SMG combo phantasy and twist, fellow AK player Germaine and every ones favorite Dutch player Robye on the scope. This team will really be bringing their A-game to the event, seeing their recent practise schedule. Both teams have their strenghts and weaknesses, TCM could be in trouble Phantasy doesn't perform as he does normally, but lately twist has been stepping up his game as well, so if either of them does not bring their game, TCM could be in trouble. On the other hand, if this duo performs to their normal capabilities, the team will be a well oiled machine and could very well cause massive damage and take home a suprise win. Reasons troubles may lay with their newest addition, slwx. Considered by many (even his own teammates at first) to be an onliner, the Fin has yet to play at a stage which can compare to the stage he will be playing at tomorrow. His only 'major' LAN experience was with 2G4L at the Assembly where he took 2nd place. The pressure will surely be on this player, but if he can overcome this and play as he usually does, Reason will be on fire and TCM can expect to be in all sorts of trouble. In the end I think Reason Gaming will take this match purely based on individual skill. Teamplay on both sides will be great, but in 1vX scenario's I think Reason just have a slight edge over the TCM players. Not saying that this will be a walkover for Reason, it will come down to close scores on all maps, with Reason taking 2-1 in the end, with mapscores being around 13-10/13-11 to either side. |

I've got both, and these guys are really good. (on console)
But it's really different.
they should force them not to use noob perks and red dots though

Yeah no doubt they're good, not too bad on Sabotage tbh watching it now and the shoutcasters aren't bad either; I laughed when the guy punched the desk and broke his monitor, just a bit odd to watch compared to the PC version^^
they should force them not to use noob perks and red dots though
Yeah they should use Bandolier, Stopping Power and Deep Impact.
Anyone know the sami-final results?
