| I think alot of people will open this preview page, and look at the two teams in hand, come to their assumptions and close the page once more. From an outsiders point of view, that's totally understandable - I mean, compare EnRo Griffins to Quadrifoglio in terms of results, it's like David and Goliath. The Germans (who I am comparing to 'Goliath', ofcourse) are not only ESL Pro Series finalists, they are practically in the Semi-Final of each and every online competition going, Infused ShopTo cup, CM-Storm, EuroCup, some of the most prestigious online events, but that's just it, online. The problem with EnRo Griffins is, they are percieved and totally 100% online by the competitive community. Not only have they not LANed together as a team, they do have the infamous Dennis "Plotsch" Diehle in their roster, not to mention a couple of others who have come under fire in the past. However, the team will be looking to prove all of their doubters wrong (with a fair majority of the so called 'doubters' present at the event!), and I think this is the perfect event for them to do so, I mean, why would anyone travel from Germany to London to let everyone realise they just 'can't do it on LAN'? *ding ding ding*...and in the in the green, white and red corner, it's..... Quadrifoglio! or David (as I'm going to call them), the giant slayer(?). Quad are simply a team which just don't give up, especially from my past experience of playing, where I had encoutered them once or twice, and each time, me and my team were seconds away from victory, and these pesky little Italians just didn't stop fighting back! And this is exactly why they are potentially going to upset a team such as EnRo Griffins. The Italians however are extremely un-experienced, but they have been together since the beginning of time in terms of Call of Duty 4 teams, and have always been recognised as the underdogs. Maybe going into this event as the underdogs once more will finally prove to the community that they are capable of playing with the big boys. The Italians haven't travelled all the way to the UK to cook us all pizzas, they've come here to win, I just don't know how capable they are of doing so. That said, I'm going to play it safe, and simply call a win for EnRo Griffins. |

quad didnt turn up because one of their players broke his arm in a car accident. We knew this before hand, but couldnt confirm it, so we still wrote the preview :)

Yeah no doubt they're good, not too bad on Sabotage tbh watching it now and the shoutcasters aren't bad either; I laughed when the guy punched the desk and broke his monitor, just a bit odd to watch compared to the PC version^^
