From Friday the 19th of February until Sunday the 21st some of the most respected names of the North American Call of Duty 4 scene will be going head to head for a first place prize of $2,600.
A total of 21 teams will be present to compete at the NERV LAN 3 in Allentown, Pennsylvania this weekend, including finesse, Hostile Faction, vVv and Loaded, who will be representing the United States at the Dutch Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 LAN event the beginning of March.
The competing teams have been split up into five groups of four to five teams each. The top two of group 1, the only group to feature five teams, directly qualify for the double elimination playoffs. In the four remaining groups, the winner advances to the playoffs, while the second place finishers battle it out for spot in the playoffs.
Was quite tricky to find the scores, so forgive me if some are missing (once I finish adding the groupscores). Felt we should cover it either way. Scores are taken from teamradium.com.
h2ktv casters make me fall sleep tbh, These casters seem pretty good and they keep u focused on the game.
Stream is laggy as hell though with all the Europeans starting to watch. :S
H2ktv have the stream sorted but the commentators on that efragtv stream are comparable to like QuadV, just really good and interesting commentary. It's purely down to confidence and as H2ktv is relatively new thats why they aren't as good at shoutcasting.
Well also alot of the time when im listening to H2K tv they don't seem to even know much about the scene . One of the shoutcasters on fnatic vs dig for example didn't seem to have even played much COD4 and deffinetly didn't know much about the 2 teams.
saying that, I am grateful to H2K for casting alot of matches and i'm sure in time the shoutcasters will have the confidence and knowledge to do a great job.
Efrag is newer than H2ktv, only about 9-10 months old. Maybe its down to Americans being louder and more emotional than europeans? The only bad shoutcaster they had is Reflex and he`s a brit living in the US ^^
Wow Devious wasn't even a team... haha
But i'll take it considering we got wrecked, the joys of pugs.
Won't happen again =P Good job impaler and thanks for all the work you did.
