The time tables for the matches around online yet, they will be announced soon. Antwerp Esports Festival is on the 30th of July, the 31th of July and the 1st of August.
Shame about the electricity problems :/ Hope everything works out. Does this have any implications for the schedule (two groupstages and a playoff bracket)?
Also, are the groups at www.gamersject.com/live/?page_id=12 correct or do they still need to be edited? (velvet from Gamemod / PGS received a different set of groups).
That was initially the idea from what velvet told me. But they might have changed that becauseof the power outage and everything being played on one day.
I've just been informed by velvet from PGS / Gamemod that the groups on the Gamersject website are the ones being used. They will start tomorrow at 10:00 CET in the morning with the groupstages (best-of-one), followed by a single elimination playoff stage (best-of-three) for the top 4 of each group.
I'm just gonna touch a little about the power outage.
We are really sorry for the cancelation of the CS:S tournament, we just cant express how much effort was put into this LAN and how little we got from what was promissed ( from the power suply issue, to the internet issue ). There are no words that we can say to the pore lads that didn't get to play CS:S.
The CS:S m8ts say we were all sleeping and swimming, what they do not understand that most of us didn0't sleep litteraly from thuesday to friday ( not one hour ! ), we tried to fix the power issue, we just couldn't, the good boys from CS:S clans did their best to help us out ( they were mostly working alone TBH, our engineering part of the staff was all gone and dead, including me, jay, zero etc. so we realy couldn't help them in no way what so ever in our condition ( it took me 20 minutes friday night to calculate how much power sockets i need for 5 PC-s to run, and most of our other staff was in no better condition ).
That same night ( after CS:S was canceled ) MINDLESS-Gaming CoD2 team motivated us to try a different approach, so we basicly plugged all the LAN cables out, all the power switches out, and started from scratch, and the damn thing worked.
So let me back on trail, CoD2 has finished ( detailed report probably in a day, two maximum, cus of the internet shortage : ( ) , and CoD4 is playing as we speak ( it's going smoothly as I'm aware, I was there when the teams were ariving I just got home to get at least some REM sleep.
The staff and judges will keep you posted as far as it goes.
Once more I want to apologize to the CS:S teams but in that short time i don't think we could get it running in any way and cancelation was the only fair solution ( we asked the teams and consulted on the matter... ).
If they could post the scores that would of course be greatly appreciated. Velvet from Gamemod travelled to the event to do coverage, but he's without internet it seems. It might be an idea to give him a wireless connection, since he has everything ready to cover the event (and he keeps me up to date as well).
think dignitas become stronger while the tournament and will play in the finals against fnatic.
Then fnatic will win 2:1 if its bo3 whta i think :D

Call of Duty 4 turnir pocinje u subotu, 17.07.2010. godine, u 14 sati, a završava u nedjelju predvecer.
Call of Duty 4 tournament starts at saturday 17.July 2010. at 14'o clock and ends at sunday around 18-19:00.

We had BIG problems around electricity so we on friday is CSS only, on saturday will be CoD2 only and on sunday CoD4 only..
We are very sorry that this happend. I can't write how do I feel about that :(
