ESL Major Series Season 6 - Introduction

After a lengthy qualification period, the €1,000 ESL Major Series Call of Duty 4 competition is ready to start.

A total of 24 teams will be entering the prestigious online tournament, divided into four groups of six teams each. Although the current European number one, fnatic, will not be entering the competition, six of Europe's top 10 teams, namely SPEEDLINK, Team Dignitas, H2k, Power Gaming, TCM Gaming and Reason Gaming, will be making their appearance.

All groupmatches will be played in the coming five weeks, with the first games being scheduled for upcoming Sunday, the 16th of May. Of each group, the top three will advance to a single elimination playoff bracket. The winners of each group will receive a BYE in their first playoff game.
