With under 24 hours to go before the next Jönköping-based DreamHack event to take place, the Quake Live community is hoping for two full days filled with exciting, thrilling and unexpected matches between some of the best current, upcoming and formerly fading teams and players taking each other on.
On Saturday, we will be blessed with four groups of four players each who will battle until noon to find out who gets to advance to the Bracket and be of the last eight players and still have a good shot at getting their part of the €5,000 prize purse for the Duel tournament. As soon as the Playoffs are over, we will most likely head straight on over to the TDM tournament.
This TDM tournament will be the highlight of this event and culminate to the excitement of the community for the last two years, as the pre-DreamHack tournaments have already given us some of the most intense games, full of last-minute comebacks, amazing Quad runs and even goofy Quad or BattleSuit pick-ups.
At the end of Sunday, we will see the second tournament of the DreamHack Summer '11 have their winners and the Quake Live community will slowly start heading on homewards and look back at a weekend of amazing play and the best of the eSports title face each other.
