Up front, I would like to ask for forgiveness in being relatively late with the coverage, as I have felt ill since yesterday and also lacked some time to complete it. Today, however, I managed to put everything into the system and you can now join TEK9 in having all up-to-date coverage of the biggest online tournament to hit the Call of Duty 4 scene since its existence.
Corsair and Esports Heaven were very pleased to strike a deal that would ensure a simply massive $10,000 prize purse to the entire community via a "simple", yet expansive online tournament. Immediately a giant amount of teams signed up and Esports Heaven was glad to sign up 256 teams to their tournament who will have to battle it out in a 4-team Group Stage first, before reaching the Playoffs.
These playoffs will be quite the undertaking, as a total of 128 teams will find themselves in a Double Elimination system to play until all final placings are known and one team will have the skill and experience to walk away with a $6,000 cheque just for first place. Four more thousand dollars will be handed out to the teams who came the closest.
