TEK9 Power Cup - TEK9 Networks

Sign-up Rules & Regulations

1. All teams must have a minimum of five members on their team page on the TeK-9 Networks Ltd. website. If this is not fulfilled, you will not be entered into the cup.

2. Please refrain from signing up for the Power Cup’s before the given sign-up time. Sign-ups will not be acknowledged prior to the stated time that sign-ups open.

3. Please use only the options stated to sign-up. This could be via the website or on IRC. Sign-ups given a separate way (unless stated too) will not be acknowledged.

Cup Rules & Regulations

1. Teams must have the required PAM mod installed on their servers in order to play any matches in the Power Cup. If the correct PAM mod or settings are not used, a default win will be given to the guest team on the server. (PAM4 Beta 3 download here)

2. At least one member must be present from each team on the #tek9 IRC channel, 15 minutes before the cup is scheduled to begin. This is to ensure that line-ups are ok to play and a server can be decided and selected for the matches.

3. Abuse of any kind is not tolerated prior or during matches. If you are abusive towards others for any reason, you will be simply removed from the cup with immediate effect.

4. Make sure all players of your team are online in-time for your matches. If you do not have a full line-up online, a default win will be given to your opponent and you will be out of the cup. Stand-in players are not tolerated and you must use the players signed up on your team pages on the TeK-9 website.

5. For the cup you have signed up for, you must use only the players on your team page for the whole cup.

Match Rules & Regulations

1. As stated above, abusive behaviour is not tolerated and you will be removed from the cup with immediate effect if you are abusive prior or during matches.

2. The cup is a 5v5 Search & Destroy, MR (max rounds) 12. If games end in a tie, MR3 overtime will be played until we have a winner.

3. Cheating is not tolerated of any kind. Using cheats to have an advantage on your opponents will have serious effects on you and your team and a ban will be issued from future projects hosted by TeK-9.

4. Do not use any bugs or glitches at all during matches. If you are caught using a bug or a glitch, your team will be removed from the cup with immediate effect.

5. All players should record their matches. If requested, demos should be submitted to a crew member of TeK-9 after the match for upload on the TeK-9 website.

6. Match scores should be reported in #tek9 and to the cups selected admins immediately after the match finishes. Confirmation from your opponent is required to file your team or your opponent onto the next round.
