TEK9 Networks Ltd. have added the addition of one day cups that have already begun for Call of Duty 4. Instead of the usual play and win way that one day cups use, we have added a little twist to make it a little more interesting. We will be running a series of one day cups under the name of TEK9 Power Cup, giving the whole community a chance from smaller known teams to high-end teams.
A points system has been devised for the standings that teams achieve in these cups. At the end of a series of cups, which will be determined on the amount of interest this project receives, the top teams standing in the points system will go onto a finals stage where they will battle it out for over 500€ worth of prizes. Below you can find the points system for each cup.
1st Place: 10 Points
2nd Place: 8 Points
3rd - 4th Place: 5 Points
5th - 8th Place: 2 Points
9th - 16th Place: 1 Point
1. Create a new team using the 'Clan management' option in your User Control panel to the left hand side of the website.
2. Take it from there by filling in details about your team.
3. Once your team has been completed on the website, get your team members to join up by visiting the teams page and requesting to join.
4. Being the clan leader, you can accept or decline who joins using your message box on your User Panel.
5. Remember, your team must have a minimum of five members to be able to participate.
Based on the interest shown by the community, the cups will vary in size of teams through how well each cup has done. The specific prizes are unknown at this time but will feature products from our fellow sponsors and support, and the prize purse maybe updated with more new stuff through-out the cups. a HUGE netsplit on irc just when the cup started. Hope everyone has been able to find their opponent before it happened.

If Im informed correctly not at all. One of the ephix' guys couldn't connect to the server, with this X-Company left the server and wanted to claim a default win.
This is not the way to go and eventually both teams wanted to claim a default win. So both teams were given the option to play the game, possibly on another server. And if a team then decides not to play we can't help it but give a default win to the opposing team. |

Because you didn't give us the full story. You stated that your opponent didn't have 5, so then I gave you default. Then it turns out they had trouble getting their 5th player on the server and tried to get a re-match on a different server. You guys reacted negative and left.
Next time, if you're not prepared to face things like this after falsely giving statements about why your opponents cannot play, then don't take your bat and ball home, just play. |
