With the World Cyber Games 2008 edition held in Cologne, Germany in November this year, this week the 2008 edition of the Samsung Euro Championship will be going live at the CeBIT Convention. The Samsung Euro Championship, or SEC, is the European counterpart to the WCG and features the absolute top of the European gaming scene battling for a grand total of $100,000 in prizemoney.
This year's edition will once again be taking place at the CeBIT convention in Hannover, Germany, which is "world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments." The event is set to feature the following seven games:
- Need for Speed: Pro Street
- FIFA 08
- Dead or Alive 4
- Project Gotham Racing 4
- Counterstrike 1.6
- Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
- Command & Conquer 3

cs is quite hard to predict, im guessing the semi-finals will be: fnatic vs mTw.dk (possibly Team Alternate) and emuLate (or Roccat) vs MYM (A.Gaming has a small chance here)
FIFA semi-finals prediction:
SK hero vs Slavkov and Alexxx (or SK Mario) vs dignitas Walkman (or dignitas AndRuXa)
Finally WC3 Semi's my bet is on Grubby vs SaSe (or XlorD) and mouz.ToD vs Gravitas HoT |
