page 1: Introduction

Special thanks to Mike "sCARFACEEe" Long for his contribution.
It’s that time again for yet another epic iSeries event, as the Multiplay i33 LAN event is only around the corner, holding some of the biggest gaming tournaments in the United Kingdom, from Counter Strike: Source to Call of Duty 4. From March 21- 24 competitors from all over the world will travel to Newbury, England, for a chance to get their hands on some of the great prizes that are available to the top standing teams and players.
Multiplay i33 is the first of three iSeries events hosted my Multiplay for 2008, with the second being held in August, and the third being held some time around fall of this year. Call of Duty 4 tops the Multiplay tournament list for i33, with a whopping 12,000€ in prize money, closely followed by Counter Strike: Source with 10,000€.
All-in-all, a total of 1,580 BYOC (Bring your own computer) spots have been taken up, and this number will definitely increase with the amount of teams and players signed-up for the TUP (Turn-up and play) option.
Various members of the TEK9 crew, management and teams will be on-site to closely follow the event, and give you, the users, a head-on look at what’s going on, with exclusive interviews, up-to-date coverage and all the latest news from the FIFA08 and Call of Duty 4 tournaments, in which our very own TEK9 players will be taking part in.
Since the announcement of our coverage partnership with Multiplay for the Call of Duty 4 tournament which will be hosted at i33, we have been constantly putting out the latest interviews for Call of Duty 4 i33 contenders, giving you the latest scoop on the teams practice and motivation leading up to the event. You can cycle through these interviews by clicking on any of the images provided below.
As well as these interviews, we have regularly updated the TEK9 web site with blogs and news, keeping you up-to-date with all the latest happenings with the event.
So what are you waiting for? Click onto the next few pages to read-on about the FIFA08 and Call of Duty 4 tournaments that will feature at Multiplay i33!

yeah the schedule they had planned was to tight and because they had some problems now the only way to fix their schedule is to put all the TUP teams together. Big slap in the face for anyone attending here in the TUP, especially the teams from far away (EG, Roskilde, TEK9) since they are all put in the same group which is BS. Anyway we will keep you up to date with the coverage! |

Please note that the TOP FOUR teams from each of the groups are going through. This means that even in the "group of death" there is every chance that the seeded teams in that group will all go through. |

#54 Turn Up and Play, people just take their personal hardware, computers are set and ready to play. Just the opposite of BYOC. |

you guys see it as a BAD thing , when it is good for them
because if they have to play each other now , they won't have to play each other for a very long time in the tournament
and it's the best 4 teams to go trough ..
