page 1: Introduction
The eleventh installment of the ClanBase NationsCup has finally come, and with the release of Call of Duty 4 last November, it has made its debut into Europe's biggest national-based cup. ClanBase cups have been distant from the Call of Duty series for a while now, once the announcement of Call of Duty 4 was made, the community activity in Call of Duty 2 dropped, as we all looked forward to the game we all love today.
Call of Duty 2 was featured in the last NationsCup, as we saw upset and grief, collide with cheers and joy, when The Netherlands took the gold by convincingly beating the powerful side of Czech Republic in the finals, with Germany placing third.
This season, 28 teams will participate spanning all areas of the European region, with Bosnia Herzegovina and Turkey successful in the two qualifier games, they will meet the powerful likes of The Netherlands, United Kingdom and France in the groupstages. Will these underdog teams make it through to the playoffs? We will have to wait and see, but one thing is for sure, the ClanBase NationsCup XI will be full of surprises and upsets as we move into the Call of Duty 4 ClanBase era.
